Authors note- There are mentions of feeling sick and throwing up in this chapter, I have put a star on each section where it is mentioned, literally if the word is said even once there's a star :)

The next thing they knew, the motherfuckers had broken into the store. One of them had a rock and managed to smash the glass, scattering it all over. Thankfully, there was another set of doors they had to get through before they got into the store completely, but that didn't fill Mackenzie up with much hope.

Morales, Glenn and Jacqui had joined them back on the shop floor. All five of them, Andrea, Rick, Jacqui, Glenn, Morales and Mackenzie, stood staring at the motherfuckers those with guns had them out ready.

"What did you find?" Rick asked Morales, not taking his eyes off the motherfuckers.

"Not a way out." Morales replied, also not looking away from the motherfuckers.

Mackenzie sighed quietly, they were never going to leave. They were all going to die right here at the store. Rick would never find his wife and son, Andrea would never see her sister again. She would end up killing these people, just like she killed Finley and her dad.

Even though she didn't want to die at the hands of the motherfuckers, she had heard Finleys and her dads screams she knew just how painful it was, Mackenzie couldn't help but feel ever so slightly relieved. At least she would see her family again, even if it meant never giving her aunt and uncle their letters.

"We need to go back to the roof, regroup." Rick told them after staring at the motherfuckers for a while. They didn't look like they were going to move any time soon, and even if they were they didn't have enough weapons to take all of them on at once.

Mackenzie silently followed closely behind Rick as they all started walking up to the roof. T-Dog and Merle were sat in silence in the same place they left them. As they got closer, T-Dog told them that he still hadn't managed to contact the people they had back in the camp. In response, Rick only nodded and took a pair on binoculars and looked over the edge of the roof. Everyone but Merle followed him, including Mackenzie, she hated looking over the edge and seeing what would inevitably kill her, but at least up here they were safe. Well, as safe as they could be, for now.

"That construction site, those trucks. They always keep keys on hand" Rick told them, he passed the binoculars to Morales to let him see them. Mackenzie couldn't help but stare at the motherfuckers that roamed the streets under them, she didn't know how Rick could plan anything with so many of them so close

"You'll never make it past the walkers" Morales told him, Mackenzie had heard this group refer to them as walkers but she didn't like it. The name reminded her of old people and the things they use to get around.

After a group discussion, one where when Merle tried joining in he got told to shut up by almost everyone, Rick came up with a plan. He didn't know if it would work but Andrea had said something that made him believe they could disguise themselves as motherfuckers and it was the only plan any of them could think of. How else would they manage to get them all out without drawing attention?

As they went back into the store, Glenn and Morales made it known how much they disliked this plan. Rick just continuously shut them down, he started grabbing gloves and telling them how they didn't have time to think about anything and everything that could go wrong. Eventually, the two of them sighed and went along with it, knowing they couldn't come up with anything better, they joined the rest of the group in collecting masks Mackenzie had never seen before, long coats, scissors and gloves.

"Mackenzie, stay here with Glenn." Rick told her one they had all the supplied, he and Morales left the room instantly after not giving her anytime to complain.
