{Chapter 8}

Harry's perspective

Don't ask me what I thought because to be honest I don't even know myself.

I walk into the second room and take one of the chairs at the table. The room is quite small, it has only one round table with four chairs around. Louis comes in after a couple of seconds after closing the door and takes unsurely the chair opposite from mine.

"Shall we start? Did you have the papers?"
Louis nods slightly and takes out two papers and places them gently on the table. I take one of them and start reading through it.

For probably once in my life I feel excited for a school project.

"Okay, so we are suppost to answer some questions?" I ask looking at Louis.

"I-I g-guess s-so" He stutters and breaks my heart at the same time.

I wish he could just trust me.

"Uhh okay lets start then, the first question is, what's a bridge in music? I....uhhh..."

"I-it connects t-two pa-parts of a s-song" Louis says while looking down at his hands on his knees.

"Well you gotta be the smart one here then, because it's not me anyway" I laugh and slide the two papers over to him.

Louis looks at them first before carefully taking a pen, without barely making any noice, and writing down the answer. While his attention is on the writing I take the opportunity to watch him. His forehead is slightly wrinkled and he has drawn in his lips in concentration. His eyelashes touch his cheeks a little once in a while when he blinks.

That's quite adorable I must admit.

"D-done" He says and hands over the paper.

While I'm taking the paper from him our hands accidently touch. Louis flinches and his face goes red.

"I-I-I'm s-sor-ry.... I-I h-h-have t-to g-go"
He says, quickly gets up and rushes out of the room.

"Louis!" I shout after him.

No! Did I just scare him away?

Louis' perspective

No, no, no

My heart races as I run out in the hallway.

F-fuck what did Liam say that he had? Biology? Where the hell is that then? Was it near the cafeteria? Wait no, that was art. Where is it?!

My vision starts to go blurry from the tears falling from my eyes. I can't breath casually and my legs shake to the point where I am about to fall. I finally see the toilets and run over there immediately. I slip into one of the stalls and lock it before falling down on my knees.

"W-w-why..." I sob an put my face in my palms.

Suddenly I hear a familiar voice and I sit quickly on the toilet with my knees to my chest.

"Louis? I..."
He sigh's.
"It's Harry. I just wanted to make sure you're okay?"

I don't say anything.

"I-I'm sorry if I scared you away"

I can't believe it. I have Harry Styles himself apologising to me on the other side of the door while I can't even pull myself together.

"I-it's n-n-not y-you'r fault" I say inbetween sobs.

"A-are you sure?" He asks unsurely and I nod, quickly realising that he can't see me.

"Y-yes"

"I'm here if you want to come out" He says calmly.

I stand carefully up on my shaky legs and look at myself in the mirror.

God, I look horrible.

My eyes are red from all the crying.
My breath is stil shaky but the tears have stopped falling. I put my hand on the lock, take a deep breath before unlocking it slowly.
When I open the door a little I can see Harry with a worried look on his face. I open the door compleatly and walk out, closing it behind me.

None of us say anything. I can see that Harry tries to make eye contact with me but I avoid it. When he finally catches it he just looks at me for a couple of seconds before opening his arms. I look at him unsurely.

"It's okay, I don't bite. You're safe, I promise"
He says calmly.

I take an shaky step towards him and carefully go into his hug. He wraps his arms around me gently and rests his head on top of mine. I rest mine on his shoulder. I feel myself nearly breaking down. It was a while ago I got a hug like this. Of course I get hugs from mom, but it's compleatly different.

"Shhh... it's okay, you're safe now"
He whispers as I sob into his chest.
