ELLIOT FOLLOWED LUNA, THE LEAVES WERE SLAPPING him every time he walked by, Luna walked in a secluded place not noticing following her, she flinched when she finally noticed him behind her.
Lewis was helping his brother place a watering system for a garden, so the kids tagged along with them, the two kids were exploring the garden before the teens interrupted their exploration.
Emma called out to them "Elliot, Luna ! Where are you?"
The two children walked out of the bushes "You could hide here forever" Elliot said, as Luna nodded
"Maybe you should" Rikki said
Emma dragged her brother out of the garden "Come, we gotta get you ti surfing practice" she said, Luna followed Elliot, not noticing the girls talking behind her.
When they arrived to practice, Luna didn't take long to put on her on piece bikini, Emma didn't take long to leave with Brandon, leaving Elliot and Luna with Rikki.
Elliot suddenly got up "Did you know i'm gonna be a pro surfer?" He asked
Luna let out a chuckle as Rikki just ignored the boy, Elliot picked up his surf and ran to the sea, Luna shot a glance to Rikki.
She got up and ran after the boy "Elliot, quit showing off" she shouted but the boy didn't listen, he put his surf on the water and swam away from the girl
Rikki appeared behind Luna "Elliot, come back here ! I mean it" she shouted
When Elliot fell down his surf, Luna didn't hesitate to jump in the water, seeing her in the water, Rikki jumped in after her, forgetting about a secret she had to protect.
She swam towards Elliot, her tail flapping behind her, she took his surf and pushed it towards Elliot.
The boy got on his surf and Luna pushed him back to the beach before diving Rikki pushed her under the water, hiding from any unwelcome starer .
She peeked to the surface "Go home" Rikki said as she dived in the water, she dived back and with one movement of her tail, she swam away from the beach.
When she finally came out of the water, Luna walked to the Gilbert's house and knocked on Elliot's door, Rikki stood behind her, the boy opened the door "Luna" he said "Where did you go? You saved me then you disappeared, how did you do that?"
Luna stuttered before walking in the house, Elliot forgot his question and dragged her to the living room. "Luna and Rikki are here" he announced "I was just telling them about how you saved me" he said
His parents rushed towards the girl "Come on in, hero" his dad said "I believe we owe you debt of gratitude" he added "Even though that was dangerous, you put yourself in danger to save Elliot"
"If Rikki hadn't been here you two could have gotten seriously hurt" his mom added, Luna lowered her head as she nodded
Luna let a smile stretch across her face as his parents wrapped their arms around the girl, Elliot interrupted again. "You're the fastest swimmer in the world" he said
"Luna ! Emma called out, i wanna talk to you for a second, in private" she said as she pushed Luna to her room, taking Rikki with her in the process.
"Did he see anything?" Emma asked
Luna shook her head, Emma shot her a glare "Why is he out there raving about how you could out swim a dolphin?" Emma asked, she turned to Rikki" And why did you let her go in the water?"
When she noticed the girl's clenched expression, Rikki intervened "He's exaggerating, she was careful and if hadn't jumped after her it would've been suspicious"
"I'm not stupid" Luna said in a harsh tone
Emma let out a sigh as she sat on the bed "I didn't mean that, it's just finding out we're mermaids would be huge for him"
"I know" Luna answered
Emma put a hand on her shoulder "We've never had secrets. He wouldn't handle that, do you understand?"
Rikki rolled her eyes "Funny that, people who grow up in perfect families seem to have that problem"
"They can't handle anything" Luna added
The girls didn't take long to call Cleo, when she arrived, they all scolded Luna for going in the water. "We can't risk turning into mermaids on a public beach"
Tired of all the scolding, Rikki intervened "Elliot's home safe, there is no drama, can we please drop this?" she said as she leaned on a table, knocking over a cup of water in the process, it fell on Emma's homework.
"My geography assignment" Emma exclaimed "Rikki, i was almost finished, it took me hours" she added as she started blowing on the assignment
Rikki stared at her "We only got that assignment yesterday and you're almost done?"
"She was almost done" Cleo corrected
"Thanks to you i'll have to start from scratch" Emma added as Rikki picked up some tissues, attempting to dry the paper.
Emma stopped her "No, don't, you blow it"
Rikki let out a sigh "Wait" she said as she pointed her hand to the paper, a steam started to come out of it before the paper changed to a yellowish color, Luna widened her eyes. "Oops" Rikki said "It was an accident"
Cleo intervened "Maybe i can reverse it, put some water molecules back in" she said as she pointed her hand to the paper, it only made things worse, it now looked like mud, Luna's face twisted into a grimace "Oops" Cleo said
"Cleo..." Emma scolded
Cleo put a hand around the girl's shoulder "We're all still learning how ro use our powers Emma" she said
Luna let out a sight, she was the only one with no powers, Emma seemed to notice "I'm sure you'll find your power" she said "Maybe it takes time-" a knock on the door interrupted them "Come in" Emma said
Elliot opened the door and walked in "Luna" he called "This is for you" he said as he handed the girl a card with red and pink cards on it
Luna shot a glance at Emma before looking back at Elliot, Rikki let out a chuckle, earning a shove from Emma, Luna took the card "Thank you, Elliot" she said
"Do you wanna play my new 3-D skate game?" he asked
Luna's eyes beamed with excitement, she energetically nodded. Elliot handed her a box of chocolate. "Chocolate?" Luna said "Yum"
"I'm glad you like them, they're your favorites" Elliot said
Cleo showed a pout at the sight of the two kids "They're so cute" she whispered
