Lupe's Pov

"So that didn't go according to plan did it?" Mav said as they followed my eyes, of course I was once again staring at my favorite blonde.

It was almost in the middle of October and currently in the middle of volleyball season. My job basically was to take it as easy as possible and make sure I didn't get hurt.

"No it didn't." I said swirling my drink around before taking a big gulp, we had been sitting in the cafeteria for just a bit. I was always told that I basically ate way too fast, so I was always waiting on everyone else to finish eating.

"Are you still not going to say what happen between the two of you?" Mav asked slightly nudging me as I finally turn towards them. I guess I was completely caught up with the blonde that always seemed to plague my mind.

"Nope.. at least not right now." I said as I turn back towards Taylor before finally saying "how about we go shoot some hoops?"

"Sounds good to me... I mean it's better than watching you pine after a certain blonde." Mav stated as we picked up our trash, before making our way towards the gym.

As I was going up for a three point shot, I could see someone making their way onto the court.

"Hey Lupe." Came a voice as I turned around, Mav automatically making faces behind Steph who had made her way on the court.

"Hey Steph, how's it going?" I asked as I made shot making it in.

"It's going..." she said pausing before moving in front of me. "You are always are practicing huh?"

"Pretty much, I don't want my mom to get the idea that she can finally beat me." I said with a chuckle.

"I always forget that your mom does this for a living." She says as I just smile before answering with "yeah sometimes it's insane how many people know her."

"Well I mean people are starting to know you too, I mean the way you played for U-17. I've had a few cousins trying to make the team." She said as I nodded my head, "Sorry I am probably rambling right now."

"It's honestly all good trust me." I said smiling as she nodded her head. "Besides I am not that good."

"Umm how can you even say that?! Do you not remember how you help the team win State in basketball and softball? And you are just a freshman?" She said as her hand moved against my arm.

"It was all a team effort, I just want to make my family proud." I said with a smile my hand quickly scratching the back of my head.

"It is still more than that though, like I've never seen someone make such a difference so quick. Besides with everything that you were dealing with Lacy. Like whew." She stated with a slight huff.

"I am thinking I should just agree with you at this point." I stated as she nodded quickly agree with what I said.

"I mean I am pretty sure I am very easily to agree with that's for sure." She said throwing her arms slightly up. "I mean maybe you would like to agree to go on a date with me?"

"I mean what kind of date am I agreeing to?" I question with a brow raised.

"Umm maybe food? Maybe we can go watch Taylor play at the Bluebird? I know she is supposed to sing." She said in a slight bit of a rush looking down before looking back at me, her bottom lip slightly tucked in between her teeth.

"Alright that sounds like a plan, I can pick you up or we can meet there." I said once again scratching the back of my head.

"Cool, maybe I'll give you my number and we can set things up from there?" She asked as I nodded my head, handing her my phone as she handed me hers.
