Shadow pulls out the red chaos emerald and puts it on Ozpin's desk

He looks at it to his amazement it contained magic as he picked it up but for some reason he can't access it

Ozpin: that's strange it contains magic but I can't use it.

Shadow: strange I was able to use it no problem and repeatedly too.

Ozpin: it seems like you have a more natural and refined link to magic or Chaos Energy as you call it.

He gives it back to him

Ozpin: is there anything more to it?

Shadow: when I found the first one in Emerald Forest and a voice spoke to me regarding it.

Ozpin: really that's amazing what did it say.

Shadow: the servants of the seven Chaos, Chaos is Power, power enriched by the heart. The servant is the one that unifies the Chaos.

Ozpin: so...there are seven more of these Chaos Emeralds, question is how do we find them?

Shadow: it seems my link to the Chaos Energy is what led me to it in the first place. Only I can find them.

Ozpin: I see, feel free to search in your free time. Since it's basically useless to anyone else it's not much a priority but if you can use them it would be prudent to keep an eye out.

If you need more money just in case you find another one in a jewelry store. Just tell me I'll adjust my budget and help you get them.

Shadow: thanks grandpa I'll head out to Dad and have him check it out.

Pietro: hey Shadow, you finally got time to visit? How can I help you?

Shadow: I need a way to find this on a larger scale.

He puts the chaos emerald on the table

Pietro: hmmm at first glance it just appears to be a simple gem.

He took some instruments and began putting some sensors around the emerald he then activated a monitor showing info

Pietro: it seems like it runs on the same magic that Ambrose made you with. Strange there are no historical records or even any stories from Ozpin to explain their existence.

The scan shows massive energy spikes

Pietro: fascinating... If you hold it does something happens.

Shadow: yes, I was able to gain more power having one in my possession. And I get even more when I collect more of the emeralds.

Pietro: so your on a quest to find more of these?

Shadow: there's 5 more to be exact.

Pietro: I'll see what I can do but for now I'll keep this one for study. You can make do with only one emerald?

Shadow: yeah dad I can.

Pietro: okay, nice visit son you just give me more work to do.

Shadow: I know you love more work dad it's just who you are.

He walks and gives him a hug

Pietro: haha, you know me very well son. Well good luck on your hunt.
