Shadow was having difficulty with his Tie

Yang just laughed at the Ultimate Life form outdone by a simple tie

And decides to help him since she saw her dad do it during occasions

Yang: guess you aren't a suit and tie kind of guy.

Jaune: no. I barely have any time for myself during my childhood.

Yang looked sad after his reveal he was such a good natured guy, to be as cold and unwelcoming to strangers

Blake: looking good you two.

Yang: so bot being a hard head today kit Kat.

Blake: keep pushing Yang and I might shave you're head in you're sleep.

Yang: do it and I'll sick Zwei on you.

Jaune: you two should just kiss and make up.

Yang: well sorry to rain on you're parade I don't swing that way.

Then she had a mischievous grin and traced her finger on his chest and

Yang: maybe I'm saving myself for the right guy.

Blake: it's no use teasing him Yang he's like that Knuckles guy. They're more naïve than Ruby.

Jaune: I am sorry.

Blake: no no no! You don't have to be sorry.

Blake said in a panic

Then they were interrupted by someone

Ruby: I HATE these Lady Stilts!

Yang: Ruby you need to wear them they are formal wear for the Dance.

Shadow had a slight dusting of pink on his face

Ruby: so how do I look?

The two girls look at each other and then to Shadow but he was unresponsive

Ruby: Jaune?

Yang grinned

Yang: hey edge lord she asked you a question or does cat have you're tongue.

Yang and Blake looks on in sadness they realize this person had an identity crisis to him being artificially made not naturally born

The two sat him down and explain what he was feeling and asked Ruby to check up on team Silver as she left the room

Jaune: love?

Yang: yeah it's when you feel an closeness, affection and trust.

Jaune: yeah I just don't understand.

Yang: just trust it and you'll be fine.

Blake: you okay with this?

Yang: he's a nice guy especially when its about those he cares about. You saw him and the TA Penny.

Blake: yeah.

Jaune: I.....I....I've never felt this before.

Blake: don't worry you're not the only one. Now cmon let's get to the ball.

Ballroom

Ruby and Jaune hanged out at the punch ball

Jaune: so all we do is dance?

Ruby: yeah but I can't dance with these dang lady stilts!

He noticed Weiss and Pyrrha just sitting

Out of concern he walks to them with Ruby following

Jaune: what's wrong?

Weiss: we didn't get anyone to ask us for a dance.

Pyrrha nods sadly

Jaune looks to Ruby and a lightbulb popped out of nowhere

Ruby: do you guys want to dance with us?

Weiss: uh..

she was unsure but it seems Ruby wanted to help them both

As the two joined them for a dance

Ruby was with Weiss and Pyrrha was with Shadow

The pair then changes during their respective dance inter changing partners and dancing off

Weiss: you're a good dancer.

Jaune: I have a good teacher.

( sorry penny for stepping on you're toes all the time...)

Penny and Pietro was at the Punch table as they looked on to Shadow who papers to be enjoying the event

The two had to hide as they saw Ironwood entered the Ballroom

They wished Shadow luck for the night

They all went to the punch and refreshed themselves

Pyrrha: thank you both for helping us get a dance partner.

Ruby: no prob! You guys looked lonely so we decided to help.

Jaune: thank Rubes for that AI was just following her lead.

Weiss: you're a good leader Ruby.

Pyrrha: indeed.

Ruby: uh shucks....

They looked to the source of the noise and found Sonic eating a chili dog

Sonic: what?

Jaune: must you ruin the moment?

Sonic: hey I'm just eating here.

Tails face palmed and Knuckles was shaking his head

Weiss: must you be so crude to interrupt a moment.

Sonic: what can I say I'm the life of the party.

Jaune just smacks his head

Weiss: brothers...there's two of them.

Ren and Nora joins them after their dance

Nora: how dare you leave us out!

Ren: Nora behave.

Blake: how do you or you're team survive?

Ren: pancakes.

Yang: do you mean puncake?

Jaune: I swear Yang I'll give you a he lair cut.

Yang: you do and I'll dye you're hair.

The two went off with a glaring match as sparks flew

The night was fun

Until Jaune felt a familiar sensation

Jaune: (its her)

He then makes his way past the them and went to the CCT

Ozpin and Glynda coordinated to keep the kids safe as Ozpin was trying to get Ironwood to seal off the Campus

He found numerous guards knocked out and AKs destroyed

Jaune looks up to the tower as he felt uneasy
