"Why would I hide something from you?" Hinata then took a step forward and placed a hand on his chest while looking into his eyes.

"Why wouldn't you?.." She then winced at that response and put her hands down to her sides. She knew she had to bring out the big guns for her to keep this diversion going.

"Naruto-kun, why would I lie to you..? I trust you--even if not everything you do to me is  pleasant."

She knew what she was doing and she knew he knew what she was doing too. And it was especially obvious when she noticed how no words were cast upon his mouth; just a deep angry smile upon his face.

But the thing is he didn't act on it nor anything else she had said all he did was stare into her eyes while rubbing her left cheek with his rough hands. Before she knew it though she was snatched and her ear was next to his mouth.

"If you're lying you should just take your punishment right now before it's too late Hinata." Her body then pulled back before snatching his hands off of her.

"I said I'm not lying." She doesn't know how or where but a spring of confidence and adrenaline came to her.

All she knows though is that she needed it more in this moment than she would've thought.

Before she knew it though his body then slowly moved forward; lips then slowly grazed each other before he finally took charge and snatched her waist for himself.

At this point, she wanted to cry thinking about what he's gonna do next.

But she never did, because he never did it. All he did was hug her and hug her and hug her, tighter and tight and tighter.

Hinata will admit it felt weird and a little embarrassing even though no one was watching her at that very second, but her top feeling was that she was melting in his arms.

She doesn't know why or how but her body felt comfortable in his strong arms and melted into his hold. He then started to rub her back and rest his head on her shoulder.

With that Hinata being her she followed mindlessly into the hold of his. And even though she would say through all this she didn't look into his eyes she would confirm that this was truthfully the first time Hinata had seen Naruto show any sensible emotion to her.

After this weird yet addicting moment, she couldn't help but feel her eyelids get heavier. Until they finally shut all together.....

...

She couldn't help but find the horrid association of sunlight in her eyes as she opened them. A long hot breath then came from her mouth as she yawned. She wanted to stay in bed forever.

Maybe because she's put in a higher status or she's been losing hope but all she's been doing is being lazy; more lazy than normal at least. Every time she does something she wants to just sit down and take a long break from life.

Sadly she can't do that though.

With a long agonizing sigh, she crept out of bed and went to her bathroom; after a while of resting in a calm bath, she grabbed her robe and gently dried herself off. She couldn't help but think about how today was calming compared to the horrid drama that happened yesterday.
