Chapter 4

𝙍𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙞

I headed to airport not knowing what something in me made me feel excited about India. After boarding into flight I adjusted myself on the seat, my heartbeat started racing suddenly like something was going to happen. Ignoring all this I rest my head at seat and closed my eyes.

"𝘊𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘜𝘱𝘢𝘥𝘩𝘺𝘢𝘺"

I suddenly opened my eyes when her name came to my mind. " Who are you Coral.." I blurt out. I didn't even know her but still felt like I knew her. I don't even know how she looks but there was something which my heart race when I used to take her name.

"Sir, would you like some champagne?"
the air hostess asked, I came out of my thoughts.

I nodded and took the glass from her.

I'd still have a day to rest before I get on work from Monday. It was surprising that I had to live in my hometown again after years, Kolkata.

𝘾𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙡

"He will be joining from Monday you know right" my brother barged into the hall. My bodyguard's joining from Monday and it's already Saturday today.

"No need to remind me Bhai" I said. I opened another can of Red Bull. He snatched it from my hand and kept it on the table. "Bhai..." I said with irritation.

" Enough Coral..you already drank two" he said and sat in front of me pulling out packet of cigarette from his suits pocket.

"Enough Bhai!! You must have already smoked in car" I said mocking him and snatched the packet of cigarette from him.

He leaned into his chair. He looked at me and smiled.
"𝘈𝘣𝘣 𝘬𝘺𝘢 𝘩𝘢𝘪?"(What now?) I asked.
"𝘛𝘶 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘵𝘪 𝘩𝘢𝘪 𝘧𝘪𝘳 𝘣𝘩𝘪 𝘮𝘶𝘫𝘩𝘴𝘦 𝘣𝘢𝘥𝘪 𝘭𝘢𝘨𝘵𝘪 𝘩𝘢𝘪" (You are younger than me but you still look like older than me)he said.
"Ohh do you mean I am more smarter and cooler than you" I said with a laugh and flipped my hairs over my shoulder.

"Not that" he said while waving his hand in air, in a gesture of no. "I mean I didn't knew that you comfort people so well. I didn't thank you for the other day..so..." He put a dramatical pause and pulled out a box from his pocket.

"Here this is for my smart sister"
I moved my hand to get the box but "Wait,do you want me do something for you??"

"No, Coral..." he opened the box. "It's just I often don't thank you enough for being my sister" he pulled out a Swarovski ring and put it in my middle finger.

"You really don't need to do this Bhai.."I smiled and said "You sure you don't want me to do anything for you??"

"No, Princess" He laughed. "After mom, you are the only precious person I have"

His smile faded a bit.
I know what was coming next..the topic of his ex before he could say anything I told him "Bhaiya I think we should visit Dakshileshwar Temple tomorrow. It's been a while right?"

"Yeah sure" he got up and came up to me and kissed at top of my head " I will pick you up at nine, Princess"

I hummed in response and said "Byyee bhaiya"
I also packed up the stuff spread all over over table and went to my room.

𝘔𝘢𝘢 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥'𝘷𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘣𝘩𝘢𝘪𝘺𝘢'𝘴 𝘴𝘶𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴.

I snuggled inside the duvet but couldn't sleep, my mind was somewhere else, where it should not be. I closed my eyes trying to sleep but all my thoughts went to only one person whom I've not met yet but still he has captured my thoughts.

I overheard Bhai talking to the security company and confirmed that my bodyguard is 'he' not she. A sense of relief flowed over my chest and not to forget fueling my thoughts for him. Also, my brother booked me the best security, the bodyguard isn't from India but apparently his nationality is INDIAN-AMERICAN.

Yes, I overheard that too.

I wonder his parents were really Indian and left the country. Well, it's none of my buisness to think about it.

I don't blame Srisha anymore for the thoughts. What if something really happens like the book she was telling where bodyguard falls in love with the Princess of Eldora. She told me about her favourite book called 'Twisted Game' and its quite fascinating.

On the name of that book, the unholy thoughts crawled my mind. She told me some of the spicy scenes of that book and GOD! is that man for real.

I wonder what's my ma- bodyguard would be like if he's grumpy that it would be fun to tease him. Well, we will see what he's like.
