[SOMEWHERE AT THE DARK]
[The time was 8:30 pm.]
[The room was still grey and shadowy, but the atmosphere was tense. The faint patterns on the dusty floor from the old window pane seemed more menacing. Scorpion was sitting in his Ergonomic Chair, his silhouette ominous against the backdrop of scattered bottles. The air was thick with the smell of alcohol and cigarettes.]
[Kailash burst into the room, his breath was heavy, sweat glistened on his forehead.]
Kailash: (panting) Hail to the GREAT SCORPION!
[Scorpion didn't turn, but his presence felt more intensely.]
Scorpion: (thundering voice) What is it now, Kailash?
Kailash: (anxiously) Sir, there's been a major problem. The shipment... it's been seized.
[Scorpion's grip tightened on the bottle in his hand.]
Scorpion: (with a dangerous calm) Seized? By whom?
Kailash: (hesitant) The police found the decoy warehouse empty, but they traced the real location.
Scorpion: But, how was they successful to seize! Those 5 untrained officers.
Kailash: No sir one.
Scorpion: What?
Kailash: Only one, Sir. And he is not a police officer. They had send someone else to took down our guards at the old factory and secured the shipment.
[Scorpion slowly turned his head, revealing his sharp face and his eyes were burning with rage.]
Scorpion: (voice low, menacing) Are you serious! Who?
Kailash: (nervously) One of our men has said that, he was extremely skilled. Our men were no match for him. He fought them off single-handedly.
[Scorpion stood up, his calm demeanor a thin veneered over simmering fury. He stepped forward into the light, his satanic smile replaced by a murderous scowl.]
Scorpion: (seething with anger) Did you get his name?
Kailash: (shaking his head) No, sir. But he was unlike anyone we've encountered before. He moved like a ghost, and he was relentless.
Scorpion: And you came here just to tell this? (Screamed) What about our men? Huh!!
Kailash: They all are knocked down by him. Some are dead and some are about to pass away.
[Scorpion's eyes narrowed as he clenches his fists.]
Scorpion: (vowing) Whoever this ghost is, he will regret crossing me. I will find him, and will destroy him. No one disrupts Scorpion's plans and lives to tell the tale.
[Kailash nods, his fear palpable.]
Kailash: Yes, sir. We will find out everything we can about him.
Scorpion: (coldly) Do that. And Kailash... make sure our next move is ready. We need to stay ahead. This little setback won't stop us.
Kailash: (determined) Understood, sir.
[Scorpion sat back down, his mind was already plotting his next move, his eyes gleaming with a terrifying resolve.]
Scorpion: (to himself, darkly) Enjoy your victory, man. Soon, you will know the true meaning of fear.
[VEERA'S APARTMENT]
[Exhausted, Veera unlocked the door to his apartment and stepped inside. He switched on the light and the familiar surroundings brought a sense of calm after the hustle. He removed his shoes and scattered it here and there. Then he was about to move on.]
Veera: (to himself) Not again, Veera.
[Then he turned back and placed it on the right rack and walked towards the bathroom.]
Veera: (muttering to himself) Finally, some peace and quiet.
[He made his way to the bathroom, undressing slowly. As he pulled off his Solid-crew sweater, it got stuck around his head and arms, making him look like a struggling child. But he eventually freed himself, shook his head in amusement.]
[Veera stood in the dimly lit bathroom, his breath was heavy and labored after the brutal fight. His muscles which were defined from years of rigorous training, were now covered in a sheen of sweat.]
[He looked at the wound on his forearm. The bandage was stained with blood. He carefully removed it, the air stinging the open cut.]
Veera: (hissing) Damn, that hurts.
[He turned on the faucet, and a stream of warm water cascaded down from the showerhead, hitting his bare body. Veera closed his eyes, feeling the soothing warmth envelop him.]
[The water hit his forearm, causing a sharp pain. He gritted his teeth, enduring the discomfort. The wound needed to be cleaned, despite the agony it brought. He stood under the stream, letting the water do its work, his mind momentarily blank.]
[As the water flowed over his physique, it revealed the intricate landscape of his body. His broad shoulders and chiseled chest glistened under the shower, the water accentuating every curve and muscle. Each drop traced the defined lines of his abs and the powerful contours of his arms.]
[After bathing, Veera stepped out of the shower, drying himself with a towel. Then he walked to the bedside table and took the first aid box. He applied the antiseptic to the cut, the sting making him wince and hiss through clenched teeth. He closed his eyes in pain. His hands were steady as he wrapped the fresh bandage around his forearm, securing it tightly.]
[He put on a pair of comfortable sweatpants and a t-shirt. As he walked into the living room, Veera stumbled over a pile of magazines he had forgotten to clean up, flailing his arms comically before catching himself on the arm of the couch.]
Veera: (laughing to himself) Smooth, Veera. Real smooth.
[He continued to the kitchen, opening the fridge. He grabbed some leftover rice and curry. He filled a spoon and had it.]
[After dinner, Veera walked to his bedroom, feeling the exhaustion in his muscles. He sank onto the bed, pulling the covers over himself.]
[As he lay there, his eyes grew heavy. The day's events replayed in his mind, but the soft comfort of the bed soon lulled him towards sleep.]
Veera: (closing his eyes) Goodnight, Veera.
[He closed his eyes.]
[Suddenly, an image began to form in the darkness behind his eyelids. He saw two eyes, bright and full of life, staring back at him.]
Veera: (whispering to himself) Those eyes...
[The memory sharpened. It was the girl he had met that morning. Her eyes were captivating, and now, even in his exhaustion, he couldn't shake the image of her from his mind.]
[Veera opened his eyes, staring at the ceiling. The memory of that girl lingered, and he found himself smiling despite his weariness.]
Veera: (to himself) I hope I see her again.
[He closed his eyes once more, the image of her eyes soothing him as he drifted off to sleep. As dreams began to take over, those eyes followed him, a promise of something more, something beautiful waiting just around the corner.]
