In a manor in the middle of London were two couples who finally got to be alone together after sending all their children off to Hogwarts for the first time ever. The couples were sitting in the main living room on the first floor. Cuddled up on the sofa was the first couple, a young man and woman no older than 31 years old. The man had messy raven coloured hair and grey eyes. He was wearing a black shirt with a red checked shirt over the top like a jacket and dark blue jeans. On his feet were red convers. The woman that was curled up into his side had ginger hair that flowed down to mid chest and emerald, green eyes. She was wearing a beautiful summer dress that was covered in sun flowers and on her feet were white trainers. The second couple were sitting on one of the armchairs. Yes, the couple shared an arm chair. Well one of them was sat on the chair, the other was sat on his lap. The man, who was sat on the chair, had light brown hair and brown eyes. His face was covered in his scars. The man was wearing a brown jumper with patches on the elbows and black trousers with black shoes. The man was trying to read a book, but it was very hard with his boyfriend sat across his lap. Said boyfriend had wavy shoulder length black hair and grey eyes. He was wearing a black, band t-shirt, a leather jacket, ripped black jeans and black doc Martins.
“It’s after been a week since they went to Hogwarts it feels so much longer. How do you do this every year?” the raven haired complained. This was the first time the couple on the sofa had sent their children to Hogwarts and they were not dealing with it well .... Well, the man wasn’t dealing with it well. The brunette sighed and put his book down, knowing he wasn’t going to be able to read it today. “James, you get used to it. This is gonna be your life for the next 7 years.” The man, James, sighed and mumbled something under his breath only for the woman to slap him and make him yell “Lily! Your meant to be on my side”. The man on the brunette’s lap laughs “don't listen to Moony, Prongs. He’s just hiding how much he misses Bree right now”
“Sirius...”
“What, Remus? You know I’m right”
This just caused everyone else to laugh. “Sirius, how is Lolly dealing with the twins being at Hogwarts now as well as Star?” At that question, the four old friends fell into a long conversation about Sirius’s sister, a guy called Severus and a ton of kids that Remus and Sirius look after. However, this conversation was cut off when James and Lily received two letters from their children. They, of course, read them outlook.
“Dear Dad,
I’m a Gryffindor like you and mum. I think I’m in mum’s old dorm to, I found her initials under my bed. I am roommates with Bree and Eileen which is amazing. Lilith got into Slytherin though which isn’t good. I’m also roommates with a muggleborn called Hermione Granger. She knows a lot of things. I’m also roommates with Sophia Malfoy. She’s so sweet and kind. I really want to be her friend, dad. Do you think she’ll be my friend?
I have had so much fun this week dad. Classes are amazing and Aunt Mini helps me with my homework. I love it here. Sorry I didn’t write sooner. I was busy trying to make friends.
From Jazz”
“Mum,
I may be on the Quidditch team as a first year. Aunt Mini says she’s going to write to you about it all, but I wanted to tell you first that I’m on the team. I’m the seeker, just like dad said I would be.
Oh also, you know how I said I was a Gryffindor and that me and Ron made friends with another Gryffindor called Hermione. Well, we have made friends with someone else. Her names Sophia Malfoy. She’s a Gryffindor to and she’s nothing like her horrible brother or her family.
