Christmas 1995.
The busiest holiday of the year.
The holiday that was even bigger this year.
The holiday where Sirius and Remus needed to fit 6 Weasleys, Remus lupin, 6 blacks, four potters, Hermione Granger, 3 Malfoys, Lexie Lestrange, Nymphadora Tonks and Marcus Slytherin into a 12-bedroom manor. (it would be 13 but one of the bedrooms had been changed into Lexie’s burning room)
Luckly not all the order was staying at the manor (only visiting more meetings).
So, some rearanging of bedrooms had to happen, especially since Remus and Sirius broke up last summer.

Even though Arthur Weasley is in hospital and that they are all in the middle of a war, the group were having so much fun celebrating Christmas. In the first few days, they all decorated the house head to toe with Christmas decorations. On Christmas morning, they spent the day together and, in the afternoon, they took a trip to visit Arthur at St Mungos. In the second week, they spent the week making a nursery.
But there were a few things that kept happening throughout the holiday that Sirius didn’t like one bit. First, the fact that the Weasley family was there and so close to Sirius’s adopted children, was something that made Sirius very uneasy. You see many of the Weasleys were dating many of Sirius’s kids. Bill Weasley was dating Emberlynn Black (and got her pregnant which Sirius was very unhappy about). They had secretly been dating for ages and then a couple months ago, Emberlynn informed the family that she was pregnant with Bill’s kid. Charlie Weasley, despite being in Romania most of the time, was dating Alya Black. Apparently, they had been sending letters to each other and a couple months ago, their friendship changed to a long distanced romantic relationship. At least they won’t be physical like Emberlynn and Sophia since Charlie is a sex repulsed asexual. Fred Weasley was dating Sophia Malfoy. Sophia had been crushing on Fred since 1st year. She even created a fake relationship with the late Cerdic Diggory to make Fred jealous. Then finally last year the two finally got together. Sirius appositely despised theses three Weasleys and he took every chance he could to insult them and get into arguments with them. It also didn’t help that Roxie Malfoy clearly had a massive crush on Hermione (and vice Verser), that Jazz was trying to get over heartbreak of the crush she had on Sophia (knowing they can never get together) and that Tonks kept flirting with Remus. Which meant the following, incidents happened at least 2 times a day.
“WILL EVERYONE IN THIS HOUSE STAY IN THEIR OWN ROOMS! NO COUPLING UP!” - Sirus
“I don’t know how there’s enough rooms for that” - Lily
“WEASLEY GET OUT OF HER ROOM NOW OR SO HELP ME GOD, I WILL KILL YOU” - Sirius
“WE ARE JUST DISCUSSING BABY STUFF!” - Bill
“UNCLE SIRIUS!” -Sophia
“WE ARE JUST CUDDELING AND DISCUSSING DRAGONS!” - Charlie
“If you so much as think of doing anything to her, I kill you” - Sirius
“RON YOU LEIR” - Fred
“What is your problem Sirius? Leave her alone. We are not together anymore, and I don’t even like her like that” - Remus
“she’s my baby cousin and you are m-” - Sirius
“I AM NOTHING TO YOU. WE AREN’T TOGETHER ANYMORE SIRIUS! - Remus
“We were just talking” - Sophia
“They were snogging” - Ron
“FRED WEASLEY GET HERE NOW” - Sirus
The second thing Sirius didn’t like is the reason why they had to build a nursery in the second week of Christmas. On the 26th December 1995, Emberlynn Black gave birth to a baby girl called Amy Georgia Weasley. The child was born with ginger hair and green eyes. Emberlynn named her best friend and roommate, River Parkinson, the godmother despite River hating children and not being at the birth. This child is the first Weasley grandchild to be born and the first granddaughter. Everyone loved the baby but the fact of who the baby's dad was made Sirius very angry. So angry in fact that he attacked Bill and nearly put him in a hospital bed next to be dad.
This was the most chaotic two weeks of everyone's lives.
