(Y/n's POV)

The loud ringing of the doorbell echoes throughout the entire tower, indicating the arrival of the pizza delivery man. I set my book aside and hop off of the couch, determined to get my pizza. When I reach the front door, I open it to see a man with blonde hair and blue eyes. He's wearing the red jacket that the pizza places in New York are known for. The strangest thing, though, at least to prying eyes, would probably be the huge pile of pizza boxes the man is carrying.

"Order for Y/n?" the man questions, reading from his slip of paper.

"Yep, that's me!" I declare.

"Alright, that'll be sixty-nine dollars and fifty-four cents," the man says, his own eyes widening at the price. I hum in acknowledgment as I reach into my pocket and pull out an a hundred dollar bill, placing it into the man's hand. "I'll get change for you right away," the man mutters, reaching into his pouch.

I quickly stop him by putting my hand up. "Keep the change," I tell him as I grab all four boxes of pizza. I ignore the way the man's eyes widen and jaw drops in shock and instead, start to head back into the warmth of the tower. What do I care anyway? After all, it's Tony's money.

Glancing down at the pile of pizza boxes in my hands, I once again wonder why I got all of these pizza's for Loki. He was so mean to me earlier, and I sure as hell don't owe him anything. I honestly don't know how someone can truly live without tasting the delectable delicacy that is pizza, though, so even though I'm still furious at Loki, I could never deny him a chance to try the gooey deliciousness that I hold in my hands.

"Hey, Loki," I greet him a few seconds later, loudly kicking the door open and entering the living room. Loki, who is still reading on the couch, immediately glances up from the pages of his book to see what all the commotion is. "Dinner is here," I say, placing the pizza boxes on the table. "We have classic cheese, pepperoni, Hawaiian, and Honey Barbecue Chicken."

"This is what you have brought me to eat?" Loki asks, unamused by the layers of cheese and crust laying in front of him.

"Hey, don't hate on the pizza until you've tried it," I quickly respond, placing a single slice of the Honey Barbecue Chicken on a plate. I hand it to Loki, who glances at it in distrust. "It's delicious, trust me," I gently say, attempting to persuade him.

I can tell he's hesitant by the way he carefully examines the slice of pizza as if it's an assailant ready to attack him. I almost laugh at his behavior, which could be considered childish. After glaring at the cheesy goodness in front of him for a solid twenty seconds, Loki finally relents and takes a tiny bite. The change in his facial expression is immediate. His eyes light up with joy, and although he tries to hide it, the edges of his mouth slightly lift in the beginning of a smile. A smile of my own appears on my face, and as I watch the god in front of me, I feel my anger toward him ebbing away.

Now that I'm able to study him without the others here and the menacing glares and hurtful comments from Loki himself, I silently admit to myself that he is indeed extremely handsome. With his jet black hair, greenish blue eyes, and well defined cheekbones, some might even call him majestic. I myself might even call him majestic if it weren't for the fact that he's a murderer. A sigh escapes my lips as I think about my tragic past. Am I really the person to judge him? The two of us really aren't that different.

Loki eventually catches sight of me staring at him, and he quickly tilts his head so that he's staring at the floor. "This meal will suffice," Loki murmurs.

"So in other words, you love it, and it's the best meal you've ever tasted," I quickly correct him, grinning wildly.

"I wouldn't say that it's the best meal I've ever eaten. Asgard has many marvelous delicacies, after all," Loki says, and although it could just be my imagination, Loki looks almost sad when he mentions his previous home.
