Chapter 11

Y/N and Jill went back downstairs and head to the door in the middle of the hall. They unlocked it thanks to a flash drive they found in the experiment room. Once they entered the storage room, the two encountered more zombies on the way. Some of them were the pale zombies they fought in the warehouse. 

Jill: "Great. More of these things. We don't have time for this."

Y/N: "Exactly, which is why I'm not going to fuck around."

He aimed the gatling gun at them and rapidly fired at the pale zombies. He kept shooting until they were all down on the ground. Jill used her assault rifle to take out the normal zombies in the way.

The pale zombies were temporarily down by the hail of bullets Y/N gave them but they weren't dead yet. Y/N and Jill took chance to move on and go upstairs. One of them was crawling after them while the others zombies slowly get up.

Y/N and Jill entered the lab then looked at the machine.

Jill: "This must be one of the things we need."

Y/N: "You operate. I'll keep watch."

She nodded then worked on the controls. Y/N went back to the stairs and saw the pale zombies climbing up. He aimed the gatling gun and rapidly fired. The rain of bullets knocked them back to the first floor and continued being shot by Y/N's gatling gun.

Y/N: "Why won't you just die?!"

He kept shooting the pale zombies until they could no longer move. Y/N noticed the pale zombie that was crawling close to him. He stepped back fired the gatling gun at it until it was dead.

Y/N: "About time. Most annoying monster in this game- eh, outbreak."

He walked back to the lab to check on Jill.

Y/N: "How's progress? Is it ready?"

The antigen sample came out of the machine Jill took it.

Jill: "Yeah, it's ready."

Meanwhile a zombie at a door ahead was slowly getting up.

Y/N: "That's one thing obtained. Now there's that other piece. The ad...juuvan?"

Jill: "The adjuvant."

Y/N: "Yes, that. Let's find it."

As the zombie got up and was about to walk towards them, Jill shot it in the head a few times and killed it.

Y/N and Jill left the lab and head back downstairs. They soon found another door at the end of the first floor then entered the next room. It looked like they were in a server room. On their right, they found a dead scientist at the corner. Jill the corpse holding a note. She was curious and decided to read it while Y/N looked around the room.

Jill: "Y/N, I've found a note that could help us find the adjuvant."

He walked back to her.

Y/N: "Where's that?"

Jill: "It says that adjuvant samples are stored in the incubation lab. He must have been trying to create enough vaccines to stop the outbreak."

Y/N: "Incubation lab. Let's see here..."

He got out the map and took a look at it.

Y/N: "Okay, it says here that there's an incubation lab close by. We could see if we can find the next piece of the vaccine there."

Jill: "I just hope it's still there."

They head downstairs and opened the big door. When they went through the door, they saw that the room was filled with bioweapons in test tubes. On the left, there are hunters and the right are tyrants.
