we all wanted as kids of having that moment with someone on prom night. when you start slow dancing with the person you like, then you stare deeply in their eyes and you kiss.
and the perfect place to have that moment was prom.
prom is a milestone in every teenager life. it's the night that filled with so much excitement, love and making long lasting memories with friends and people you want to be more than that. you spend hours choosing the dream outfit, hair and makeup. you usually go with a date probably a girlfriend or boyfriend feeling like nothing could come between you guys. like as if you guys would spend the rest of your life's together.
that estella felt like on her prom until her boyfriend dropped a totallybombshell on her.
"it's over between us i just don't deserve you so you definitely don't deserve me."
that was the sentence that left estella crying her eyes out on prom night. the sentence that marked the end the schools "it" couple.
the sentence that made no sense to her.
one second she's on cloud nine feeling so love and cherished by him. and then the next she feels so alone confused and hurt.
how could he not deserve her? how could she ever live without him? how could one minute she's planning their future and the next they're not even an couple anymore?
the night that was supposed to be the best of her life turns out to take a unexpected turn for the worst.

estella had just gotten out of the car with her boyfriend arm around hers. the air was crackling with excitement. the gym was transformed into a fairytale palace with shining fairy lights with a hint of lilacs her favorite flowers.
she was in a beautiful off white dress that looked like a ball gown. she was finally here at prom with matt her boyfriend of two years who first had her heart with his shy smile and quiet jokes.
"you guys look like cinderella and prince charming and it makes me want to throw up everywhere." nick matt's older brother said.
"nick once you find a boyfriend then you can share you opinion but until then shut up and let me enjoy prom with my girlfriend." matt said which made everybody slightly laugh but estella could barely hear them while spacing out by how good matt looks.
he looked irresistible in his tuxedo his eyes sparkling as he hold her hand. laughter was one of the only things you could hear while they were having the time of their lives with their friends.
