Walking down the steps—Rome held onto Payton's hand as they heard voices coming from the kitchen. It seemed that everyone had the same idea of getting up early to get the day started. "Good morning mother-fuckers." Rome said after they walked into the kitchens making everyone look up.
"Babe, that's not nice." Payton smacked his back. "Good morning everyone."
"His big headed ass don't know what it means to be nice." Kj shook his head. "Good morning to Payton and Payton only."
"Good morning girl!" Karter, Indiya, and Callie all said in a union before they all stuck their middle fingers up at Rome.
"Ouch!" Rome grabbed his chest. "Speaking to my wife but not to me. Foul!"
"We like her, we don't fuck with you." Karter said with a smirk.
"What she said!" Callie agreed.
Kj and Xavier both snickered already knowing why the girls were saying that which made Rome mug them.
"Sooo Payton, are you coming ATV riding with us today?" Indiya asked.
Payton shook her head. "No, that's not my thing. I hate dirt." She pouted. "Rome said he's still going though. I'm going to stay back and relax. Something about being kid free just has me wanting to stay in the room and do nothing."
Indiya chuckled. "I feel you girl. I feel you."
"How the fuck you feel her and you ain't pushed no babies out." Rome smacked his lips.
"You such a hater!" Karter said before busting out laughing.
As they all laughed—Essence walked into the kitchen making Indiya instantly jump up from her chair and run to her. "Rose! Good morning baby!" She kissed all over Essence's cheek making giggles erupt from her.
"Good morning my love." Essence smiled. "And good morning to everyone else also." She said looking around the room.
Everyone spoke back while Rome chose to stay quiet.
"Essence, it's nice to see you again beautiful." Payton spoke up making Rome damn near snap his head around. Xavier and Kj on the other hand looked at each other before picking up their orange juice and sipping it. Rome himself had already knew Payton had no bad blood towards Essence. She actually liked her but it was a little surprising to him that she'd spoke first.
