To be caught off guard,
When two strangers become intertwined-
Both expecting for it to be the wrong moment
But the perfect time-
Both become childlike,
Reminiscent of an old dream,
Caught up after a life time of chases
Effervescent in a crowd for only two to be seen.Maybe it's the way you looked at me,
Pursed up against your bottom lip-
Maybe it's all those years hoping someone
Would recognize the heart that was unkempt-Only for another to pick up where it left off, a lifetime away-
Maybe it's time to grab that spoon, for another life time awaits- another wrong moment on a perfect day.
