As soon as Abed got back, Hero by Chad Kroeger (Nickelback) came on. He held a large heart shaped assorted chocolate box, and a single red rose. He slowly walked to Rose who was sitting at a table across from the snack table. She still had cheese on her face. She looked up at him.
"Hmm?"
She noticed the chocolate and rose.
"I didn't want your night to end the way it did."
He gave them to her, she smelled the rose, and smiled. He followed her to the water fountain, she took a drink.
"You know what Bruce Lee said about water?"
She froze and looked at him, he continued.
"Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless, like water. Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup, you put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle, you put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water my friend."
Rose was smiling and flapping her hands a little. She was surprised he knew the quote. He took her hand and went to the snack table where the napkins were, he gave it to her, she wiped her mouth.
"Let me be your hero tonight."
He took her hand once again, he led her to the dance floor. They danced as the rest of the group looked on.
