February 26th, 2007, 7:55 P.M.

The doors to the concert had opened at 5:30 and I was standing there since like 2 o'clock.

What? I wanted to be the first one there and get a spot right in the front. It worked.

Rise Against was the opening band and they played from 6 o'clock until 7:30.

My friends don't come on until 8 o'clock, and they play till 10 o'clock, and they'll be playing the entire Black Parade album, plus a few other things.

8 o'clock in 10 minutes though.

After that, at 10:30 people with backstage passes are allowed through. Which means me. The going backstage part lasts until midnight, then everyone has to go. Rory said that I'd maybe be able to stay longer, if I need to.

"Hello, Cleveland! How's everyone doing tonight?" He yelled through the mic, causing everyone to cheer, including me.

In a few short seconds they started with "The End."

Everyone was singing along, to each and every song, listening to every word that any of them said, that includes me.

After they sang the entire album, they played a few songs off of Three Cheers, but nothing off the one that I helped work on.

At exactly ten, they all said goodbye and got off stage. The venue started to empty out a bit as people either left or made their way to the line to go backstage.

I was in the middle of the line, everyone's been standing there for around 15 minutes slowly waiting for their turn, when someone tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around and spotted a shorter woman in black skinny jeans and an MCR shirt.

"Hey, you look really familiar. I feel like I've seen you before. Sorry, I just really needed to say that." She said as she looked at my hair.

"It's okay, um, I'm Y/N L/N if that means anything." I replied with an awkward chuckle.

"You're the drummer that pushed Frank off the stage!"

Wow, someone remembers me from that? Odd. But at least it's some sort of memory.

"Yeah, that was me. I regret that."

"He was fine, the stage wasn't that far from the ground. I'm Jen, I was the bartender who helped him. I know this is weird, and I apologise for that, but that memory has always stuck with me."

"No, it makes sense that something like that would stay in someone's memory."

"Heh, yeah, true. Anyways, it's nice to meet you. I've always thought you were a good drummer from that show, and the album you were on."

"You too, and uh, thanks."

We talked for a bit longer until it was finally my turn to go backstage.

I walked up the steps and pushed through the curtain that led to where the members were sitting.

Rory was the first one to greet me.

"See guys! I fuckin' told you Y/N would make it!" She squealed with a huge grin.

It didn't last long though, causing an awkward silence in the space.

"Oh my god.. It's really you." Frank spoke, his mouth hanging open.

"Is it really you?" Ray asked, the same shocked look on his face. "You've changed so much."

"It's been five years since we saw her, of course she's changed." Mikey said, causing everyone to laugh.

I had just stopped laughing when Gerard had walked back into the room, holding a water bottle.

"Sorry, I just had to grab something.." He spoke in an apologetic tone as he shut the door before turning around and dropping the water bottle. "Oh my god."

"Hey."

"This can't be real." He said sceptically as he walked towards me.

"It's real."

"You're joking. This can't be real."

"Gerard, it's not a joke. It's really me."

He suddenly squeezed me into a tight hug, wrapping his arms around me, as I did the same to him.

"It's been forever.."

"I know."

"Get a room or separate, love birds. There are other people here." Frank said, causing everyone to laugh again.

We both sat down on opposite couches that were across from each other. I was with Rory and Ray, while he was with Frank and Mikey.

We all talked for around 5 minutes, we gotta be quick since other people have to take their turns, before a security guard came in to tell us my time was over.

"Come with me. Boys, I'll be right back!" Rory said as she grabbed my wrist, causing me to wince softly, and pulled me through the halls, leading us outside.

"You have to come on the rest of the tour with us, please!" She said, holding my hands in hers.

"I don't know if I can." I said with an unsure expression.

"What, why not?"

"I've been gone for three days, I'm sure Gillian is searching for me. I snuck out just to be here."

"You still live with her? Aren't you twenty-two years old?"

"Yes, but she won't let me leave until I marry someone. She keeps trying to set me up with a 'good catholic boy' who'll keep me in check."

"Fuck-ass bitch. She won't be able to find you if you keep jumping states for a few months."

"Yeah, you're right. Okay, fine. I'll come with you guys."

"Yay! This is the perfect chance for you and Gerard to get together again."

"What?"

"Nothing, don't worry about it. Anyways, let's go get your stuff and my stuff from the hotel and put it all on the bus so we're ready to leave later."

"What about my car? I can't just leave it in the hotel parking lot."

"We'll leave it with my aunt, she won't care."

"Does your family just live every?"

"You could say that."

"Okay, I'll do that, let's go get our stuff."

"Onward!" She said, stealing my car keys from my pocket.

"You don't know which car is mine, you dipshit!"

"I'll figure it out!" She yelled as she began to run through the parking lot, trying to find my car.

The past 40 minutes were pretty eventful, but in a good way.
