                               destiny's pov

As soon as I wake up, I see the bright sun shinning though the blinds. I quickly cover the view with my hands and squint my eyes. I take a minute to get used to the light and get up from the floor. I look down to see everyone still sleeping. I carefully step away from them and go up to my room. I walk into my bathroom and take a quick shower to wake me up.

I grab some clothes from my closet for school today and brush my hair. I look at myself in the mirror and realize that even after all that I still look tired. Accepting it, I make my way back downstairs.

I pull out my phone and check the time, it was already 7:09. My eyes widen. I head over to the living room.

"Guys wake up, school starts in like 40 minutes" I raise my brow.

"What time is it?" Aaron rubs his eyes.

"7:10" I respond.

"Already?" Emily says with a shocked look on her face. I nod in response.

"Leave it to Destiny to be a mood killer" Vinnie sighs.

"Oh yeah because I change the time" I roll my eyes at him.

"Why are you ready already?" Vinnie looks at me.

"Because I got up early and got ready" I say in a "duh" tone.

"Wow, and you didn't wake us up?" Vinnie rolls his eyes.

"No Vincent I did not wake you up, I was trying to give you guys more sleeping time." I walk to the kitchen, grabbing a banana to eat. I needed to eat something to get me through the day.

"So you wanted us to be late?" Vinnie follows me.

"No I didn't!" I put the banana peel in the trash can.

"Alright enough, you guys literally just wasted 5 minutes of our time, it's too early for this." Aaron rubs his head. Vinnie and I both shut our mouths.

"Dess do you have a shirt I can borrow?" Emily asks with a smile on her face.

"Yeah I do!" I smile back. We walk up to my room and I show her a couple shirts she could wear.

"I think I'll go with the yellow hoodie, ya know to match my sweatpants" She lets out a laugh.

"Yeah go for it! I'm gonna let you change, I'll be in the living room!" I say as I leave my room.

I sit down on the couch and go on my phone. I go on Instagram and start looking at people's stories. I get to Johnathan's and see that he was at a party last night. I furrow my brows in confusion. Why didn't he tell me? I shake my head and put down my phone, maybe I was overthinking it.

"Dess you ready?" Aaron asks as he opens the front door. I smile and nod, we all head to Vinnie's car. Aaron sits in the passenger, and Emily and I sit in the back seat again.

"Do you have cheer again today Em?" I ask Emily.

"No not today. I was actually going to ask you if you wanted to go to the mall today, for real this time." She smiles.

"Yeah I'm down!" I smile back at her.

I look out the window watching the route we take to school, I take a bite of my banana.

"Damn Destiny you're still eating that banana? It's been 20 minutes." Vinnie teases. Emily and Aaron being to laugh a little.

"Shut up Vincent." I roll my eyes at him.
