destiny's pov

"How have you been?" I ask genuinely.

"Crazy without you" He smirks.

"Stop that" I smile, rubbing my forehead.

"Stop what? I don't see anything wrong with telling the truth." He grinned.

"I've missed you dess" He holds my hand, admiring my white french tip nails.

Shout out to my nail tech.

"Why?" I say jokingly.

"Why?" He chuckled.

"Dess, I missed your smile, your laugh, your beautiful eyes, your sweet perfume, your touch, your jokes, your voice, everything Destiny." He stared into my eyes.

"Why? I love you dess." He shrugged. I smiled at him.

"You know, I didn't miss you." I joked. He raises his brows.

"Not even my car?" He asks, grinning.

"Just your car." I laugh.

"What time is it?" I ask. He pulls out his phone from his back pocket.

"7:27" He says, looking up at me.

"I better get home before Aaron starts interrogating me" I laugh, pulling the strand of my hair behind my ear. Johnathan smiles at me.

"Let's go then, I'll take you." He stands up, taking my hand to help me get up.

When we get to his car he opens the door for me. I give him a smile.

20 minute time skip✈︎✈︎✈︎✈︎✈︎✈︎

The car ride was silent, not awkward though. It was comforting. Listening to music as the sun began to set.

We arrive outside of my house, looking out the window I see Aaron and Vinnie working on the car. Surprisingly, Johnathan parked. He got out of the car jogging to my side.

I let out a laugh. He opened my door and I got out of the car giving him a smile. We start walking to the front door.

"Dess? No hi?" Aaron raised a brow.

"Hi, sorry you seemed busy." I smile apologetically. He just nods.

"JT, what's up man?" Aaron smiles while walking to him, giving him one of those "man"hugs. My head turns to Vinnie as he comes up behind Aaron. He raises his brows at Johnathan's presence. Vinnie then gives him a hand shake muttering a "what's up". Vinnie looks me up and down then glares at me, causing me to look away.

After a coupes minutes they finally end off their chat. Johnathan walks me to the front door.

"Bye dess, thank you for letting me talk to you" He smiles.

"Bye John" I smile back. He then walks off, I shut the door. Going up to my room I open my bag, getting my homework out.

At least it wasn't due today?

A few minutes go by before I hear someone knock. I look up to see Aaron and Vinnie.

"What's up?" I asked.

"Johnathan?" He sneered. I rolled my eyes, knowing where this was going.

"What about him?" I look away, going back to doing my homework.

"Are you guys back together?" He said while walking in, Vinnie following behind him.

"No" Is the only thing I say.

"Then..? What was that?" He asked.

"Friends being friends?" I say. He rolls his eyes.

"Oh and friends open their car door for each other and walk each other to their front doors?" He slightly yells.

"Yes?" I smile. He takes a seat on my grey vanity chair, holding his face with his hands.

"Aaron why does this even matter?" I ask, genuinely confused. He laughs, rubbing his hand through his hair.

"You know why." With that, he walked out.

"All this for what? So he can ghost you again?" Vinnie says, smirking. I look up at him.

"He apologized." I say. He laughs.

Why am I engaging in this?

"Words don't mean shit." He says, walking out as well. I looked down, thinking.

I close my eyes to get the thoughts out. Going back to my homework.
