The sun rose high up into the azure coloured sky, climbing up from the darkness that had been made by the moon.

“Woow.” A god stepped out into the large open space, his face obstructed by the large Set mask he wore but even without seeing his face many of the people there could see the smug look he had on.

In front of him were many different structures, consisting mainly of statues, pillars and tall stands. The tallest one was in the middle and held the gods of the Ennead that had decided to attend the trial of the god that had finally arrived.

You were seated next to Ra on a smaller chair and had your legs hugged against your chest as you watched on in what felt like either excitement or fear. More like a mix of both. You already knew what would happen but it was still exciting to be able to see it all in person instead of just through your screen.

However it was a bit scary to be surrounded by so many gods and Seth too because you were sure neither him nor the others knew about you being a god or what you represented. So it made sense why when you were waiting for the trial to start and was sitting next to the sun god herself, the others would of course want to know who you are. And when Ra had noticed, she just gave them a quick introduction that consisted of your name and what god you were. Quite surprising in your opinion because she was one to favour drama and would have probably not told them anything.

But you decided to just focus back at what was happening and at the moment it looked like Seth was busy indirectly insulting all of them.

“Well, who do we have here? Why, if it isn’t the daughters of the sun god.” As Seth spoke, you could see in the corner of your eye that a blue skinned man, who you assumed to be Shu, looked to be startled by what Seth had said. It was understandable because Shu was a male.

When that thought came to your mind you couldn’t help but almost let out a laugh but quickly caught yourself from doing that. You weren’t wearing your veil anymore so it would definitely be obvious that you were laughing if you did.

“Anyway, seeing all of you here together like this makes me happy. And here I was thinking you all went to a family vacation to Duat without me. It’s been forever since I’ve seen any of you.” And he started to burst out laughing at his attempt at a joke. “But except for [_] of course-” He added on before he got cut off by Maat who seemed to only be getting more and more annoyed at Seth.

At the mention of Duat, you could feel your face scrunching up at the thought of it. More specifically the person who ruled over it, Osiris. Oh you absolutely hated that man with all of your being. He was the literal example of the devil.

Looking over at you was Ra, who saw the scrunched up expression you had on your face and only smirked before turning her attention back towards the trial.

You quickly turned your attention away when you heard someone speaking, also making sure to wipe the scrunched face you had away.

The person was standing on one of the tall stands, it was the man from the arena. He still had his blue falcon shaped headdress over his head as he spoke. It was easier for you to recognise him from the manhwa because of the headdress, he was Horus.

“I, Horus, speak on behalf of the heavens.”
