"It's been a year since the whole thing happened. Since Voldemort's death and my descent into the real meaning of life, peace."

----

I wasn't sure I wanted to leave Hogwarts, after all.. It was a place I could call home. The only one for so long, it just didn't feel right. Tell me, how excited do you think I was when Hermione suggested me, her and Ron retake our 7th year? Let's just say, VERY. She didn't tell Ron though, OBVIOUSLY not.

All of us were sitting together at the dining table, including the Weasleys, at the burrow. Mrs. Weasley made us a great lunch, honestly, I can't get enough of her cooking, it's amazing.

When 4 letters randomly came in through the window, right into Ginny's face, wonderful.

"Oh what the-" Ginny groaned, picking out the letters from her hair and looking at it.

"Oh! Hogwarts letters.. Wait- why is there 3 other ones?" She questioned, looking at the three of us in doubt.

"Well!" Hermione started, looking quite pleased with herself, Ron gave her a "wait a minute.." Look.

"I asked professor McGonagall if me, Ron and Harry could retake our 7th year, and she said yes!" She said, quite delighted.

"WAIT WHAT?!" Ron retorted,

"I don't wanna retake a year! No way!" He complained, Hermione rolled her eyes.

"We have to finish our education, don't we, Ron? What do you think, Harry?" Hermione asked me, I just gave her a nervous nod, no way was I going to say anything remotely disagreeing with her.
Ron gave me a betrayed look.

"Finish our education my ar-" Ron started-

"LANGUAGE, RONALD WEASLEY!" Mrs. Weasley hissed.

"I think Hermione is quite right, you should definitely retake the 7th year. It's going to help you with your Auror positions." She continued, Hermione nodded.

"You're going whether you want or not, Ron." Hermione replied, giving Ron a warning look. Ginny snickered, I held back a laugh of my own, or else Ron would totally not talk to me again.

"Fine." Said Ron, in a defeated voice.

"We should probably go upstairs now." I said, Ron nodded immediately, Hermione got up as well to join us.

"Thank you, Mrs. Weasley!" I thanked Mrs. Weasley, she gave me a kind smile and started picking up the dishes, Ginny helped her.

We went upstairs, and opened the door me and Ron stayed in, we went inside and sat down, Ron giving Hermione a glare.

"Really, mione?" He asked, defeated, she nodded.

"Look, Ron. There's no more wars or anything right? We can have a peaceful year after a long time! Every year until now was stressful in a way. We can finally just have a decent school year. That's fun, right?" Asked Hermione, seemingly convinced, Ron sighed.

"I 'spose. I guess we just wait it out until we go buy our books." Ron shrugged.

"Alright. Any plans?" I asked.

"None." Said Hermione.

"Me neither." Said Ron, I looked at them in interest.

"Quidditch?" I asked, Ron grinned, Hermione didn't like it, though.

"Harry, what about-" She started, I waved her off.

"Oh, no, YOU'RE gonna play with us. Come on, mione!" I grinned as Ron dragged Hermione along with us, who was protesting, "I'd prefer to just read-"
"Nuh-uh!!"
