Annabeth had taken Percy and Rachel to the infirmary after the gasoline incident. The rest of us could only sit in cabin three and await Leo's inevitable death.

Leo has been trying to make something as an apology to Annabeth. Hopefully, that would work, because he was in BIG trouble.

Annabeth came back into the doorway,
"Valdez, I'm forgiving you this one time-"

"THANK YOU MA'AM!" Leo sighed, then quickly straightened up, giving her a salute.

"You're welcome. Anyways, our trip will be a bit delayed. Approximately by an hour, because, the few kids from the Apollo cabin taking care of Percy and Rachel, want to monitor them to make sure that the Gasoline won't harm them. Though, I'm sure the ambrosia will neutralize the effect of the gasoline." She stated.

"Well then, let's plan without those two. One of us can fill them, in order, and write everything down so they can read it." I suggested.

"I'll fill them in." Offered Piper.

"'Kay, Pipes is gonna fill them in." Said Annabeth, sitting down next to Hazel.

We made a map of all the places where we thought Hecate would be and Annabeth was in charge of taking care of the map.

"How will we go on the quest though?" Asked Leo. Smart question, coming from him.

"Yeah, how?" Asked Frank.

"Camp has this van, we'll be taking that." Answered Annabeth.

"That 'Delphi strawberry service' one?" Asked Hazel, raising an eyebrow skeptically.

"Yeah, that one." Confirmed Annabeth.

"Well then, LET'S FREAKING GO! I LOVE THAT DAMN VAN!" Screamed Leo.

"Hold on, Repair boy, we'll have to go to the infirmary first." I grinned.

We were all ready. We packed all our belongings, at least, everything that mattered. Extra ambrosia, nectar, drachma (incase we needed to send any messages) and about $500 for food or anything we needed.

Percy and Rachel were officially okay again, the Apollo kids said they'd be fine, and that the nectar got them back on track.

"But, if they feel any weakness, do NOT go further until and unless you're sure that they're fine. And make sure to feed them a little nectar, and I repeat, a LITTLE nectar if they feel nausea or any sort of body pain. Now-" Stated Elliot, an older Apollo cabin kid, stable, up until Hemera shoved him a little.

"Elliot- oh! Is this about the gasoline? They'll be fine. Elliot's just overreacting. None of that will ACTUALLY happen. Aha." She turned to Elliot, a look on her face.

"Good luck for your quest." Elliot finished, giving Hemera a look back. Silent messaging? That kind.

"Mhm, good luck. Don't die!" Grinned Hemera, and the two of them went off, talking like crazy.

Everyone at camp wished us a good journey, and we checked in with Chiron one last time,

"Make sure to be careful while you tread your path. Hecate is not one to be easy to locate. Be aware, and don't let your guard down. Good luck." He nodded, and we left it on that note.

We'd been walked for ages. Ages and ages, the environment darkening around us. The night was coming. The CHB (disguised as Delphi strawberry service) dropped us off at a point, and then Annabeth suggested we walk, since taking the van might cause extra attraction towards them. (Everyone except Percy booed her.)

We visited one of the spots Annabeth suggested Hecate might be at, but she was nowhere to be found.

Hazel told us about how it felt to be near Hecate, the thick mist, the lingering presence, the uneasiness.

We'd not experienced that yet. And now, we were getting closer to another spot that Annabeth suggested, still a few miles from where we currently were.

But strength was not on our side, we all collapsed in exhaustion.

"Please. Please. I need ENERGY." Groaned Rachel, Annabeth sitting next to her,

"There's a café nearby. Shall we go and freshen up before it's dark out?" She asked.

"YES!" Said Percy and Leo in unison.

"And so, we shall go." Nodded Piper, as we all got up, towards the café.

The place had a nice ambience, as we sat in the nice cold A/C.

I ordered a plain black coffee, as did Annabeth. Piper got a pink lemonade, Rachel got a chai, Hazel got a caramel frappe, Percy got a Hawaiian tropical blue-juice thing, Leo got an orange juice, and Frank got a cappuccino.

We all got ourselves a few croissants, macaroons and cakes.

We were all having a peaceful moment, discussing the quest, when Frank shook his drink around a little uncomfortably.

"Guys.. I feel.. Woozy.. Is there any lactose in this, by any particular circumstance?" Asked Frank. We all just paused and started at him, the silence deafening.

"Frank. DARLING THAT IS A CAPPUCCINO. IT. IS. COFFEE! IT HAS MILK IN IT!" Said Hazel, Frank's eyes widened.

"Oh." He mumbled,

"Yeah. I guess I should've thought of that first."

"Are you alright? Do you need any medicine or anything?" Asked Annabeth,

"Oh, no, it's alright. I'll be fine." Frank gave a thumbs-up.

We all then freshened up, washing our faces and fixing our messy selves.

We paid and left the café, looking up into the constantly darkening night.

"We should move fast now, before it's late and we can't see. Monsters, will DEFINITELY be nearby. Keep on guard, everyone." Warned Annabeth, as we started to walk to our desired destination.

Hazel felt it. And you know what, even WE felt it.

The coldness, the uneasiness, everything settling upon us.

We moved inside the abandoned building, the thick mist covering our eyes, making it hard to see. We're here. SHE'S here.

The presence draws us closer, as we cautiously navigate through this never ending maze of a place.

We all hold hands so as to not lose each other in the white fog. Piper's grip on my hand tightens when we hear a crack, and a very familiar, angry looking polecat hissed at us and walked on.

This is it.

Three Hecate's, back to back with each other. Misty and unpredictable, the crossroads running across the once tiled floors.

"You are here."
