WEDNESDAY

Enid wait! Please...

She watches Enid disappear out of view and puts her head in her hands

MICHAEL

That sucked

Michael had followed behind and was stood behind Wednesday

WEDNESDAY

I'm sorry Michael, I should have told you

MICHAEL

Yeah you should have. Really should have.

I don't like making my little sister cry Wednesday

She turns around to face him

WEDNESDAY

Michael I...

MICHAEL

-No you don't get it. There's a reason why I said I'd kiss you as a friend, why I'd never pursue anything more from you.

WEDNESDAY

Because you're gay too?

Michael smiles and squeezes Wednesday's arm

MICHAEL

It sure would have been easier... not actually being attracted to you, I mean. But you're gorgeous and believe me, just now, when you were kissing me, my wolf has never wanted anything more than to rip off your c- *pauses* I wanted you. Trust me. Im not gay... but my sister is

Wednesday's face sports a look of shock and confusing

WEDNESDAY

What do you mean she's gay? How is she gay?

MICHAEL

You might be her roomie but I still have to endure her on the holidays. Since you started at Nevermore you're all she ever talks about. Wednesday this, Wednesday that... why do you think I went out of my way to be your friend? She totally sold it.

WEDNESDAY

Enid is just a sweet girl, she loves everybody. She's just kind

Michael shakes his head

MICHAEL

She maybe kind but she's not like this with everyone. I've never seen her like this with anyone but you...

WEDNESDAY

No. There's no way...

MICHAEL

Wednesday... Enid has photos of you all over her room, framed ones on her dresser, collages on the walls. She sleeps in your hoody and she has this journal... Lord knows I'm only telling you because she already hates me right now, but this journal... she draws pictures of you in a black wedding dress, she draws herself in white. She writes Mrs Enid Addams over and over and lists what I assume to be baby names. Some pictures are... explicit in nature. When I heard she was dating a boy, I was shocked. But then I saw him... he has your eyes and your nose and I realised, she's dating the version of you that's socially accepted. The one she can bring home. But he'll never be you. She knows that.
