I decided I would never use my abilities and skills and only use them if I need to. Right now, I need to because this dog is scared.
Hey buddy! Do you have an owner? The dog whimpered in response. Aww poor guy, must have been abandoned. What's your name buddy? The dog stayed silent. I figured it was scared to trust me, because his, yes its a boy, his previous owner probably treated him very bad. When I took a step closer to him he moved back whimpering as if I would do something bad to him.
It's okay! Calm! Friend! Trust! That made the dog take a small close step towards me. I smiled a real genuine smile ever since I left my old life which Sophie Foster was in. Friend! I transmitted to it again! It came closer to me and licked my face! It was so adorable I wanted to kick the owner of this adorable dog! That made me wonder...
Hey buddy! Can I be your owner? I asked hopeful. It came forward and licked my face. I took it as a yes! Then I remembered, Do you want your name to be Cocoa? I transmitted. It licked my face yet again, but I didn't mind. Cocoa it it. I liked Cocoa for 3 reasons, one, Cocoa was happy when I asked him if he wanted that to be his name, two, his fur was the color of cocoa powder, and three, it is a name that suggests a loving and loyal companion who will always be there for you.
I just realized that Cocoa might be hungry, I didn't have a lot of food but if that meant Cocoa would be safe, then he can eat some of it. I don't care if I starve, I cannot let Cocoa starve. I got some food out and put it on my hand, Cocoa looked like he was trying to hide that he was hungry, I stretched my hand out as a silent invitation to Cocoa to eat it.
After he ate he seemed pretty happy and full! I got out very little food for myself to eat. I silently nibbled on my sandwich while watching Cocoa play with a feather on the ground and also thinking about some good lyrics. He was so adorable I honestly don't understand how he doesn't have an owner. I would pay like literally $1,000 if I had that much money to be his owner. I'm so lucky I have the opportunity to be Cocoa's owner!
As my eyelids started to droop, I made sure to give my whole blanket to Cocoa because it was cold and I want him to be warm. Before my eyes closed I made sure to make sure I have the perfect song.
Tomorrow everyone, will see me, a person having two lives which one she completely doesn't care about anymore, Julia Robinson.
