"What is a beautiful lady like you doing here all alone" he asked.

His tone was rather polite.

"Questions later. Do you see a guy with blond hair and green eyes behind me.Dont make it too obvious please"

He twirled the whiskey in his hand, casually looking past me. Nice!

"Yes, he's coming here" he said "are you okay? Is he troubling you?" He asked concerned.

"He's not exactly troubling me or something but it will be a problem if he sees me" I mumbled to myself but he heard it.

"Don't worry. He won't be able to do anything to you. I'll handle it" he said, walking past me, his fist bawled.

"No! Don't do anything stupid. I'd rather avoid trouble" I held his hand, stopping him. "Just...act like you know me and get me somewhere away from him. Could you do that." I pleaded.

Great. Now I'm asking a ridiculous favor from some stranger I just met. But right now I can't afford Levi to see me. I really can't.

Just the thought of him causing a scene in front of Cole makes my skin peal.

"Sure" he said with a smile.

Something feels off but I decided to ignore it. Right now all I want is to get away from here. Everything's been off since the day started. I'm just being on the edge.

I could feel someone's presence behind me. I closed my eyes ready for whatever's to come.

Just then a hand slid through my waist and pulled me closer. My head rested on his chest and he held my head with his other hand. Mr.stranger just hugged me.

"Sofia. I love you. I told you she's just a friend" he pleaded.

Damn. Nice acting.

"Hey Levi, you coming bro" someone called out.

"Ya I'm coming " a voice behind me said.

"Is he gone" I whispered

"Yes. But he's by the counter. He can still see you" he whispered back.

I pulled away from the hug but he still held on to my waist.

"Come. I'll take you somewhere else. He won't be able to find you there" he said pulling away his hand.

"Okay" I said unsure.

He took me to the second floor. It was surprisingly quite empty. I rarely saw anyone passing by unlike the first floor which was packed with people.

I started feeling nervous and anxious. Maybe it was a bad idea.

"This is a VIP section. He won't be able to get in here so you can loosen up. In fact only a few people can get in here, although I don't think anyone of them would come here at this time." He said looking around.

"I should probably head home. It's pretty late" I said nervously.

Something about all this was making me uneasy.

"So soon. Oh come on. I didn't even get your name yet. How about we get a drink together " he asked with a polite smile.

"I just don't feel good. Maybe next time" I said.

I felt bad about turning him down. He did help me get away from Levi and avoid a huge problem.

"You don't feel good? Are you okay? How about you get some rest and then I'll drop you home. Don't worry you can trust me. I have a sister your age." He said looking worried.
