A few hours later, Sandra sensed something emitting from her bey. Bringing her partner out, Byakko was glowing bright cyan for some reason and became concerned at the sight.
"What's up now?" Kyoya questioned, and she saw that Leone was glowing too.
It was not only Sandra and Kyoya's Beys that were glowing. Tithi and the rest of them noticed that Quetzalcoatl was glowing the same way.
"Aw, that's no fair. Why am I left out?" Yu commented, disappointed.
Without warning, Sandra experienced a sharp jolt of pain in her head, causing her to cry out in pain and held her head. "Ack!"
"What's wrong, Sandra?" Kyoya asked with concern, though she didn't have time to ponder his reaction.
"Nemesis..." Sandra mumbled. "His revival is starting..."
Shaking her head, she did not have a clue to how she knew that. After Sandra was able to refocus on reality, another call was coming through on Yu's computer. He answered, and Hikaru was on the other end this time.
"Oh, hey, Hikaru," greeted Yu. "What's going on?"
"The Star Fragments in your Bey are reacting to the power of Nemesis, which means Nemesis has become activate," she informed sternly. "You must meet Gingka's group at the Mayan Ruins located to the southeastern part of Mexico. We will send a helicopter to your location, but the earliest it can arrive will be early tomorrow morning."
"Got it," Sandra responded. "Thanks, Hikaru."
Comprehending the news, an eerie feeling loomed over all of them.
"Well, that didn't sound good," muttered Yu.
"That sounded scary..." whispered Tithi.
"Looks like we're gonna have to spend the night in this lousy village then," Kyoya affirmed.

After hours of flying on the helicopter from the Mexican village and avoiding Yu's constant stream of questions, Sandra finally spotted a temple in the distance. Yu slid open the door of the helicopter, and she was about to stop him when his eyes lit up.
"Hey, you guys! Ben-Ben, hey!" The young boy shouted to their friends below, waving. "We have to hurry on ahead, okay, boys?! You guys please warp things up there, okay, Ben-Ben?"
Shortly, the helicopter landed on the head of the temple. All four of them hurried out and rushed into the ancient ruins.
"I hear something in that direction!" Sandra proclaimed, hearing clashing noises of beys, and the others followed behind her. At the end of a long hallway, she came across a dead end.
"What do we do now, Yu?" Tithi inquired.
Yu shrugged. "Yo-Yo?"
"Do I have to do everything?" He sighed. "Let it rip!" Kyoya launched Leone into the wall, destroying it completely. Rolling her eyes, she honestly did expect those actions from him. Luckily, she had been right and her group found where Gingka and the others were.
"Kyoya, Sandra!" Gingka called.
"And Yu!" Masamune and Madoka exclaimed.
Scanning the room, there were many Bey battles taking place. Along with her friends, Aguma and two other guys were there. For some reason, Dynamis was battling Gingka, and there was something clearly off about him.
"Gingky! Hi there, everyone!" greeted Yu.
"Lucky us, it looks like we got there just in time," remarked Yu.
"I told you all that we'd be back!" Sandra claimed, grinning.
"Gingka, what are you doing wasting time here?" Kyoya questioned.
"Excuse me?" Kyoya took notice of his opponent, seeing how different Dynamis appeared. It was as though a menacing aura surrounded him.
"What's the problem, mister fortune teller? Did your crystal ball tell you to switch teams? Is that it, huh, pal?" Kyoya scoffed, stepping closer to them. When Dynamis did not respond. "Interesting. No words, huh? Well, I'm your opponent now, buddy. Leone!" Without hesitation, the boy launched Leone into their stadium.
"Don't do it, Kyoya. There has to be some explanation for this stuff," reasoned Gingka.
"Back off! Just stand down now, you hear," Kyoya retorted. "Now, Leone!"
Leone created a small tornado to send Pegasus back to Gingka's hand. "Kyoya."
"Don't forget that you haven't judged me yet, fortune teller. Not that I care about what you have to say anyway."
"You ran from the will of the heavens, correct? You desired to live on your own and not do your duty, so why are you here now, huh?" Dynamis asked in response.
"The situation has changed slightly, I'm afraid," admitted Kyoya. "It seems that my fate is to be followed around by brats forever. Whether I like it or not, it just keeps happening to me over and over again."
Sandra folded her arms with a smirk. "Hey!"
"But someone proved to me that my fate isn't something I should avoid. Someone less annoying, who I don't mind being by my side." Appreciating his declaration, she smiled.
Glancing back and forth between both Sandra and Kyoya, Gingka wore a confused expression. "Uh, did we miss something here?" Which prompted Madoka to smack him.
The girl beamed at her with grateful eyes. "I'm so happy for you!"
"This is the first time l've seen so many strong Bladers gathered in one place!" Tithi expressed, unable to contain his excitement. "It's so exciting!"
"You see? I told you that you'd have fun if you came with us to meet all my old friends," Yu commented.
"Tithi, why don't you join in as well?" Sandra suggested.
"Huh? Can I really? But I'm so shy." Tithi looked up at her with fearful curiosity.
"Come on, Tithi, just try," Yu encouraged.
"Okay," The boy replied, running over to Yuki and Aguma's battle. Wearing his mask, Tithi startled Yuki before asking if they could switch. Eagerly, Tithi launched Quetzalcoatl into the stadium.
"Nemesis' revival? The Black Sun? I don't care about those things. I only care about settling things with Gingka, get it? That said, if I can't battle Gingka until something is done about all this other stuff, then I'll do something. I'll crush anyone who gets in the way. Now then, give me your best shot, pal!"
"Kyoya," muttered Gingka.
Madoka attempted to warn Tithi about battling Aguma, though the young boy simply wanted to have a good fight. She witnessed the stadium glow whenever beys clashed, and she suspected it was due to the Star Fragments.
"Yo-Yo and Tithi look like they're having fun out there. Aw, I want in on the fun!" Yu voiced, and then noticed another battle on the side.
Masamune and King were battling a man wearing a mask and another man with strange facial markings.
"Go, Variares!"
"Charge, Striker!"
"Sandra, let's join them!" Yu urged, and she nodded. "Aright, go, Libra!"
"Byakko!"
Libra collided right into the masked guy's Bey, while Byakko hid in the shadows.
"Why, you..."
"Nice!" Masamune remarked. "Hey, King, time for us to make our move."
"Yeah! We can't let these guys just show up and steal our thunder. Variares!"
"Striker!"
They aimed themselves for the markings guy's bey, which had a tall Spin Track. He gritted his teeth. "Ice Titan!"
Barring its claws, Byakko charged for the masked guy's Bey, flinging it back into the wall. But Sandra watched as each of the stadiums had stopped draining away their respective Star Fragments. It did not take long for Gingka, Madoka, and Yuki to run out of the room and continued on through the temple.
"They are running!" proclaimed the masked guy.
"Let them go," his partner told.
"Huh?!"
"There are many more traps waiting up ahead for them to find. We need to stay here and fight. The intruders must be punished!"
"Keep your eyes on the battle!" yelled Masamune.
"Go now, Variares!"
"Charge hard, Libra!"
"Stand strong, Byakko!"
All four of their beys aggressively attacked their opponents' Beys, pushing them back. Beside Sandra, a smirk arose to her face from seeing Aguma having difficulties with Tithi. On the other end, Dynamis was powerful, but she was not worried about Kyoya. Amazingly, Tithi was able to launch Scythe Kronos out of the stadium.
"Tithi, you did it!" celebrated Yu.
"Woah!"
"Alright, let's do this too!"
"Yeah!" All of them agreed.
"Byakko, Special Move: Aurora Shine!"
"Libra, Sonic Buster!"
Libra turned the floor all of their beys were batting on into sand, causing their opponents' beys' speed to decrease drastically. To make things worse for their enemies, the colors her bey gave off caused them to shield their eyes. Wobbling, their beys began attacking each other on accident.
"What are you doing?" the masked guy questioned.
"Okay, let's go, King!" Masamune announced.
"Yeah!" King grinned brightly.
"Joint Special Move!"
"King of—"
"Flash of Lightning!"
"Thunder Sword!"
There was a bright explosion that sent both of their opponents' beys flying back. Celebrating, each of them high-fived each other.
"Yeah, we did it!"
"Alright!"
Retrieving Byakko, she saw that Kyoya was finished his battle as well. The pendant on Dynamis had broke and fallen off, and the guy seemed to return to normal.
"We don't have any time to lose. We need to follow Gingka and the others," Kyoya said, heading for the exit. "Are you coming, Sandra?"
Sandra nodded in agreement. "Yup!"
"Wait, are you and Tiger Girl finally a thing?" Masamune asked them curiously.
"They've been acting all lovey-dovey ever since last night," Yu mentioned.
"Wait, do you mean..." Realizing what Masamune was inferring, her face flushed into the color of a tomato. She was relieved Kyoya had walked further so that he could not hear what the boys were saying.
"It wasn't anything like that!" Sandra clarified frantically, and then she jogged to catch up with Kyoya. "We should go on ahead!"
"Woah, Tiger Girl and Lion Boy are together? That's definitely an odd pairing." Sandra heard Masamune say from behind her.
It is strange, Sandra agreed, and a smile crept onto her face as she gazed at Kyoya running in front of her. But I don't mind one bit.
