Hours has passed by and the sun was rising from the horizon, and the sky was on fire with a blazing sunrise and while the calming twilight started to lighting up to the dawning sky. As the Mist Temple has started to come to life by the rising sun, the birds started singing their morning songs as the sun had started to come to view.
In one of the rooms of the temple, Sandra was started to wake up in the bed she was in. Feeling the synchronization of breathing, her head was resting on something more firm and warm than her pillow. Raising her weary gaze, Sandra realized she had somehow managed to end up sleeping on Kyoya's chest. Her cheeks flushed as she recalled the unexpected events of the previous night, and she still could not believe how Sandra and Kyoya both confessed to each other. Her eyes softened as she observed the boy, who was still fast asleep next to her.
Sunlight trickled into the room and over his face. His soft hair fell over his eyes and she gently swept his bangs to the side. Sandra didn't know why she did not realize how attractive he was until later on, though she figured the inkling had been secretly at the back of her mind this whole time. She was also getting a closer look at the scars on his face, which she always wondered about and figured it was a sensitive topic for him to talk about. Feeling a little awkward, Sandra tried to get out of bed, but she felt something pinning her to the bed. She looked down to see Kyoya's arm was gently, but firmly wrapped over her waist.
"What are you staring at?" Kyoya whispered to her.
"A sleeping lion," Sandra replied with a playful smirk. Unsure, she wanted to ask him something to confirm everything that happened the previous night was not just in the spur of the moment. "Are you sure you want me by your side?"
"Idiot," murmured Kyoya while opening his blue eyes to look at her. "Of course I do, since you're my girlfriend now."
Sandra's eyes widened. "I'm your girlfriend?"
He averted his gaze and she noticed his cheeks flushed red. "That's how this works, right?" She giggled at how flustered Kyoya was since it did not happen often. She was glad he showed her that cute side of him.
"Kyoya! Sandra!" The duo both perked up when they heard Gingka's worried voice outside of their room. "Where are you?"
They both smiled at each other before they gotten ready for the day and went to rejoin the others at a breakfast table with Dynamis. Their breakfasts consists of pancakes with butter and syrup, scrambled eggs, oatmeals, bacon, and fruit drinks. Many of them ate their breakfasts while a few of them spoke to each other about their future bey battles and they asked questions about each other's past (well, except Kyoya).
After breakfast, Dynamis led them into a huge study room. They all walked through the library doors and were amazed by the sight in front of them. It was like stepping into a live dream. There's a large table made of solid wood with an alit candle, scrolls, books and pencils strewn across the top and stacked in piles. The walls were covered with either colorful tapestries or bookshelves that almost reached the ceiling. As they stepped deeper into the library, there's more to be seen. Books were everywhere, simply everywhere, but there's also scrolls cubbyholes along the walls and cylinders around the room. Every corner had a spot to curl up and read in: a few cushioned window seats or arrangement of chairs and tables. It has large, pastel-colored windows and many filled bookshelves. The Bladers gathered around the table with some scrolls that might connected their information about the two unknown Winter Blader and the Venus Blader.
Sandra started searching through the scrolls about Quetzalcoatl and it's myths while speaking to the others. "When you mentioned Quetzalcoatl, I've recently remembered that Quetzalcoatl is a mythical winged snake of Aztec — The Aztec was one of the first people of Mexico. And when I was contacting Yu, he told me about a 'Blading Monster' was scaring the villagers with a strong bey and hides in some ancient ruins by themself." Sandra hummed thoughtfully. "It sounds like Yu has found one of the Legendary Bladers there. And I better go there alone."
"What?!" Gingka gazed at his (adoptive) sister with worried concern. "Are you sure that's a good idea?"
Sandra gave him a firm, even nod. "I'm sure Gingka." She met Gingka's eyes. "You and the others can track down the Winter Blader in a solo tournament while I search for the Venus Blader."
"Well, okay," said Gingka. "Just be careful." He sighed wearily. "I feel better if you have a travel partner with you."
Sandra blinked with surprise when she felt Kyoya placed a gentle, but firm hand on her shoulder. "Then, you don't have to worry. I'll go with her." Kyoya shrugged. "I was meaning to get some practice out in the wilderness." She smiled up at him warmly, in which he returns fondly.
"I'll contact Hikaru and let her know to send in a helicopter for you two," Madoka informed the duo.
