Have you ever noticed that life has a funny way of  making you one fall in love?

I was standing in front of the building I'm hoping to work in now. I've always been friends with Soshiro and Mina and I'd love to work with them. Ive never tried to work with them so this was my first try at this.

I looked over because I heard yelling. There was a blond girl with pigtails, a white haired boy, and a black haired man. The black haired man looked older than the other two. I noticed the blond girl she's Kikoru. I believe the white haired boy is named Reno.

I walked into the building.
I think me and that girl can be friends.

I was army crawling under barbed wire and I was at the front. Kikoru was behind me. Mina trained me for a while so I'm in good shape and I know exactly what tests we'll be doing.

I stood up and waited for everyone to finish and the other rounds to go. We did the fitness test, it was easy as pie.

"Hey your Kikoru Shinomiya right?" I stuck my hand out
"That's me. You are?" She shook my hand

"Y/N Akari!" I smiled

"That's a very pretty name." She smiled. She went off and teased the black haired guy. His name is Kafka.

Wonder when I'll see Soshi. He's grown on me...I do have a crush on him but he's never showed any romantic feelings towards me. He's just really nice.

I went off and talked to Kikoru. She walked back over to Kafka and I did too. She was making fun of him then we walked off.
"I heard that we're fighting Kaiju next." I smiled
"Team?" She asked
"Team." I smiled

"Hello there folks! I'm vice captain Hoshina of the defense force third division. I'm heading the second stage exam committee for this year." It was Soshiro
"Beyond the big door you will find the testing area." He put in a code and the door opened. One of the Kaiju ran towards the door and jumped at Soshiro. Im not worried. He saved me from a Kaiju once so he'll be fine. A gate shut making sure the Kaiju didn't get out.

We all walked into a room and put suits on. It molded to the shape of my body.
"Kikoru are you seeing this?" I smiled
"It's cool." She smiled too

"That, is a defense force Kaiju combat suit. It's made from organic material taken from Kaiju bodies. And it's massively multiplies the users combat power." Soshiro said over an intercom. They started listing off unleashed combat power.

"Kikoru Shinomiya! Unleashed combat power...Fourty-six percent!"

Kikoru was grinning.
"Wait..." the voice said

"Y/N Akari unleashed combat power, SIXTY-EIGHT PRECENT!" The voice yelled
"Damn..." I muttered. Everyone started talking.
"Woah girl." Kikoru was still grinning
"We're the two highest." I smiled. Soshiro started talking.

"KAFKA HIBINO! UNLEASHED COMBAT POWER...ZERO PRECENT!" The voice was louder than it was for me. Soshiro was laughing.
"YOUR NOT TAKING A DUMP! ITS NOT LIKE YOU CAN PUSH IT OUT!" Soshiro was cackling. He walked through the door.
"Heyyyyy! Looks like everyone's all suited up. Let's do it..." everyone started to walk out.

I felt a hand on my shoulder
"Don't die on me out there." Soshiro smiled
"Me, die? Pftttt you must be dreaming." I laughed and we all walked out

We were all on a bridge. Soshiro was telling us the instructions.
"Okay, don't let my shield activate. Got it." I looked over at Kikoru. We both agreed to work together.

We all jumped. Me and Kikoru automatically jumped and started killing the Kaijus.
"C-Captains watching us?" I looked over at Kikoru
"Yeah. She's really cool and from where she's the captain I guess it's reasonable." We kept running as I shot a Kaiju. I knew Mina was cool, im friends with her.

"Kikoru isn't that your lil friend?" I asked pointing to Kafka
"We're not friends!" She yelled. She shot the Kaiju.
"Good job!" I smiled
"No quitters and no casualties. Not while I'm on the field." We started jumping toward the big Kaiju.

"Ready?" I asked
"Always." She smiled. We kept running.
