At the Quartermaine mansion, Monica was alone in the den, pouring herself some coffee when her cell phone rang. "Dr. Monica Quartermaine, thank you. I'm glad it's taken care of," Monica said as Brooklyn entered. Monica hung up the phone. "Brooklyn, how are you? I'm sorry about your breakup." "I loved him, Monica." "I know you did, and I know this isn't easy, but you'll get through this, I will." "You will come out stronger than ever."
At Metro, Olivia was looking at the hotel one last time before informing the staff about her resignation when Carly came in. "Olivia, what did you want to tell me?" "I'm following my dreams. It's not the hotel. I want to open my restaurant." "I'm happy for you to follow your dreams; I would like to buy your share of the hotel," Carly said as Tracy entered. "Did you tell Carly you sold your share?" "To whom?" Tracy yelled. "Carly," she said. "Yes, the Quartermaines, our family. We owned this hotel before." "Yes, I remember, then it burned down! Why would you do this?" Carly yelled. "Because my husband asked me to. Carly, you would do the same—you put the hotel at risk when you lost it to insider trading," Olivia explained. "I can't believe you threw that in my face. So, you're partners with Nina?" Carly asked as Nina entered. "No, I sold my share to Tracy too." "It's allmine! I can't wait to redecorate it and rename it. This hotel is named after a late stripper," Tracy said as John approached. "John, why are you here?" Carly asked. "To arrest you on Rico's charges," John replied. "No! You can't do this!" "Yes, I can. Carly Spencer, you're under arrest," John stated.
At the police station—Sonny's cell—Sonny was laying on the ground when a cop saw him and called for help. Anna came into the cell and helped the paramedics get Sonny out. "Can you save him?" "No, it's too late. Sonny Corinthos is gone."
