I woke up to the sun hitting my face. I turned over while pulling the covers up over my head. I was about to drift back to sleep when I remembered I had promised my uncle I would go into town today. I let the realization sink in for a moment before groaning and reluctantly getting out of bed.

I put on a plain white tang top and tied a black corset around my waist, it was a fancier corset that reached up my back and had a pair of sleeves with a hood connected to the back of it. I put on a pair of black leggings and a pair of plain shoes. After I was dressed I tucked my dagger into my corset so it was easily reachable but out of sight. I had my small medical pouch with me incase needed.

Once I was dressed I put my hair into a ponytail and got ready to head out. Unbeknownst to me, Alexander was also getting ready to go into town.

He was wearing his normal attire which consisted of a loose white shirt and jeans. He had on a few rings and his crown sat proudly atop his head. He made sure to keep the small cloth inside his pocket.

"Are you ready to head into town your highness." One of the guards asked Alexander.

"Yes commander, I'm ready." Alexander replied back as he mounted his horse. A few guards followed suit and they headed off into town.

Back in the center of town Raven was at the market getting the needed supplies for her aunt and uncle. She was Looking at the list when she heard commotion up ahead. I turned around and noticed the prince making his way down the towns main road with a few guards behind him. My blood ran cold as I turned back to the stand. I heard Alexander get off his horse as he started interacting with the towns folk, but I noticed the way he was searching the crowd. I knew he was looking for me. But I stayed calm and kept my composure when I noticed him walking towards the stand I was at.

"Hi there, I noticed you weren't in the crowd, why's that?" He asked.

"Sorry your highness, I'm buying some supplies for my aunt and uncle. I didn't mean to be rude." I said through gritted teeth as I bowed. I stood back up but refused to make eye contact, i had been in such a rush this morning that I had completely forgotten about needing to wear contacts for my safety.

I could feel Alexander staring at me as I turned back to buying supplies. "Your not making eye contact, am I really that horrible looking." He joked,

I stiffened a bit before taking a deep breath. I sent a silent prayer before looking up at the prince. "Not at all Prince Alexander." I said shallowing the lump in my throat.

I didn't noticed it right away, but Alexander was staring at my eyes. He had only told the guards that his  intruder had blue eyes, but in reality he knew what color blue. When I noticed him staring I looked away and continued shopping. While shopping I felt Alexander's voice next to my ear suddenly.

"Your terrible at hiding darling." He chuckled lowly so only I could hear his voice. My face paled as I looked at Alexander out of the corner of my eye.

"I have no idea what your talking about." I lied.

"Oh don't play coy with me now hun, I recognize your eyes." He stated. Alexander noticed the way I tensed up and a smirk appeared on his face. "See, I was right." He laughed.

I just glared at him before I quickly walked away. I glanced back to see him say something to his guards before they started walking in my direction, Alexander, on the other hand, went off in a different direction. I used my magic to teleport my uncles items home with a note saying I was in danger and I wasn't sure when or if I would be home, I told him and my aunt I loved them and for him to stay safe.

When I noticed the guards getting closer I took off running, I maneuvered through the streets quickly before turning towards a more abandoned part of town, I figured I could lose them there but as much as I tried I couldn't lose them completely.

Just as I was about to give up I noticed someone down the street, I came up with a quick idea, it was stupid and would probably fail, but it was worth a shot.

I quickly ran over to the person and just told them to play along. They nodded their head and I waited for the guards to come around the corner before grabbing the persons shirt and kissing them. I hated throwing them into this position but they played along until the guards had passed. Just as i was about to pull back I was suddenly pushed against the wall as the person deepened the kiss, I was shocked until I felt familiar fingers press against my throat.

"Shit! I just walked into a trap, Alexander told his guards to follow me while he snuck off to catch me off guard. I have to get him off." I thought desperately.

Before I could come up with a plan Alexander pulled back as I leaned against the wall gasping for air. He leaned in close to my reddened face before speaking. "Not bad sweetheart, your an even better kisser then I thought you were."

I shoved him back. "What the heck you jerk! Your lucky I can't kill you right now or I gladly would." I snapped. "I'm sick and tired of your games! Just leave me alone." I scoffed, I turned to leave but before I could get very far Alexander grabbed my arm and pulled me back so I was once again pinned against the wall.

"Answer my questions, and I'll let you go." He said with a sickening smile. I was reluctant but eventually nodded my head ok.

"Good, we'll start out simple." He said "why are you trying to kill me?"

"I despise the royal family." I hissed. "Your nothing but ignorant pricks who only care about themselves."

"What exactly did the royal family even do to you to make you hate us this much." He asked confused.

"Wouldn't you like to know." I spat. I felt Alexander reach under my chin and lift my head up so I was looking directly at him, "remember darling, your freedom depends on your next answer." He stated.

"You don't get the privilege of knowing my past." I scoffed. I was glaring at him until I noticed his free hand reaching down towards one of his pant pockets.

"Well then, seems you made your choice, I didn't get everything I wanted exactly, but you did answer my questions." Alexander said down to me.

"There, I answered your stupid questions, now leave me alone." I hissed.

"You see, that's where I lied. I'm not going to just let you go, not now that I finally have you again. I'll see you when you wake up darling." Alexander said, I was confused until I felt a cloth being placed against my mouth and nose.

I let out a muffled protest but it only fueled the process, I could feel my eyes closing as my body shut down. The last thing I felt before passing out was Alexander wrapping his arms around me and picking me up.
