It's been three days since the incident in the village. Three long, terrifying days of having to act like a personal servant to Alexander. I was behaving for the time being, But once I found the perfect opportunity to get out of here, I was taking that chance, although that was proving harder than I thought. Alexander always seemed to have me at his side. After our little conversation in his room three days ago he's been refusing to let me out of his sight unless I'm in my room, which was right across the hall from his.
It was the morning of my fourth day of torture and I was getting ready in my room. The one thing I absolutely despised was that Alexander was making me wear a uniform. It consisted of a loose long sleeved white shirt with a a corset around my waist and black legging that reached to my knees. I had a pair of black dress shoes and my hair was in a half up, half down hairstyle to keep it out of my face.
I had just finished getting ready when I heard the door being opened, I didn't even need to look behind me to know who it was.
"Morning sweetheart." Alexander said, his voice laced with the sickly sweet tone he loved to use when he talked to me.
"stop using pet names, it makes me uncomfortable." I said turning around to face him, a slightly annoyed look on my face.
"Nah, it's fun, plus those names are reserved for only you." He announced with his signature flirtatious tone.
I let out a sigh before turning back around to finish getting ready. "Of course they are." I mumbled under my breath.
"I'd watch my tone of I were you." Alexander warned, his voice turning low suddenly as my blood ran cold.
"Yes sir." I muttered, I hated acting like I was just some dog he could control at his will, I hated being his personal little servant for his own personal pleasure. Once the opportunity arose for me to escape, I was taking it. I would warn my family and friends to stay safe, and then I would run as far away from here as possible.
I had just finished getting ready when I heard Alexander approach from behind me. Just before I could turn around I felt one of his arms wrap around my waist while his other hand wrapped underneath my chin as he tilted my head back slightly.
"Your learning, good." He purred into to my ear, the satisfaction and cockiness clear in his voice.
I fought back a witty response and waited until Alexander unraveled himself from me before letting my anger seep in, I kept my anger contained however, it would do me no good to get myself into anymore trouble than I was already in.
"Now, since you've actually been behaving quite well, I have a reward for you." Alexander announced.
His words perked my interest suddenly. "What do you mean?" I asked, hesitant to know what his plan was.
"I'm going out into the gardens later, I want you to join me on my walk, it would do you some good to get outside for a bit. You already know the rules so I don't need to explain them." He smiled.
I felt about ready to faint. "Is he serious, there's no way he's already going to let me outside that fast. There has to be a catch." I thought. "Whats the catch." I asked, a guarded tone to my voice.
"No catch, just remember what will happen if you try something." He said with a smile.
I was still hesitant but after a moment nodded my head. Now that I was finished up we both left my room and started to walk down the hall. I was quiet as I tried to think of a plan, I realized however, that even if I did manage to escape I still had the chance to be caught again, and my freedom would easily be ripped away from me forever. I decided to lay low for now, wait until everyone thought I wasn't going to do anything, and then I would use that opportunity to escape and get away from this wretched palace.
