(Noah's POV)
Timid was the only word I could use to describe my mate also known as Angel. He refused to make eye contact with the prying eyes around us always coming back to mine to find encouragement. It made me feel good even with the envious look Mason kept throwing our way as Angel pressed tightly against my side.
"When I passed out a voice spoke to me." His blue eyes shifted to me and I smiled to let him know it was okay to go on.
"He said his name was Farris and that he was going to save us, after that he too disappeared." My fingers danced along Angels shaking hands. All eyes drew up to my father hoping he had some explanation for this bizarre situation.
Michael rubbed his temples and let out a deep sigh.
"I've never heard of such thing, but our spirit wolves are very complex beings and have their own rules and regulations. It is not to my knowledge that a spirit would be allowed to astral project, unless it were permitted by the moon Goddess herself." We all stared at Michael as if he had a third head.
"I believe it may be time to call a friend, everything is becoming a little to messy." Friend? Michael has a lot of friends with the neighboring packs, but it's hard to believe any of them would have more knowledge on the matter than he would, seeing as he is Alpha to one of the largest packs in the region.
He began to walk away with everyone following closely behind, but not everyone. Mason stood and grabbed Michaels wrist.
"Who is this friend?" He seemed suspicious and rightfully so because I felt just the same.
"A witch." Michael shrugged his shoulders as a matter of fact.
The room became deathly quiet, there was only one witch we knew and we had cut all ties with them, which was merciful to the things we should have done.
"You're fucking joking." Bitterness laced my voice as I stared up to Michael with malice in my eyes. Angel grabbed my arm, instantly calming me down.
"No, I'm not. She's the only one that may know what is going on and how to help Uriel and Farris return to where they are supposed to be." There was no room for negotiation as he turned his back from us, forgetting all about Angel and his double mate fiasco with his sons. I was still upset about the whole witch situation, but his sudden absence left the perfect opportunity to be alone with my mate, with the unfortunate exception of my twin brother.
"Why don't you like this witch?" Angel stared deeply into my eyes, voice confidant and questioning. Mason made a move to come closer which made Angel jump, as if he had forgotten he was even there. Hurt was evident on my brothers face but it was hard to feel sorry when I wanted nothing more than to keep this Angel all to myself.
"That's a conversation for a different time my little mate, I would like to get to know you first." His cheeks turned a bright red and he stuttered a meek response.
"There's not much to know." I laughed heartily at his adorable expression.
"Would you like to go for a walk with me and we can get to know all the little unimportant things about each other?" I had never been so happy and airy even with the hole left behind from Farris, so I was treading on new territory and was more than happy to explore this side of myself with my mate by my side.
