let me rewrite the story

"So cold" I mumbled and pulled the fur blanket closer. Tora and Archie both shifted to their beast  form and layed besides me, Tora on the left and Archie on the right.

Kei also shifted and layed near my leg and I sighed in relief at the warmth their beast form provided.

As a month had now pass since the cold season arrived, the snowfall started to grew heavier and Carlos although not completely asleep was always near the fireplace.

'Dammit, I think I really underestimate the cold season here' I thought as I buried myself further into the blanket. The cubs were also with me inside the covers, hurdling together to provide more warmth to me and themselves.

Lucas stood up and went to grab another fur blanket and added it on us. 'Next time, I'm gonna have them build a bed where it heats below. I forgot what it's called but I want it!' I thought to myself with a huff.

"Sera. I made some hot soup for you, it's made from the last short bird we have on the coop" Rio said which made me peek from my blanket.

As the weather got colder, the short birds stopped producing eggs so we didn't really have a choice and began cooking them one by one. 'Well at least I get to eat fresh meat every now and then rather than smoked meat all season long' I thought as I slowly sat up.

'Good thing I asked Tora to make curtains last time and put them on every window on the house, they at least minimize the cold wind from coming in' I thought and looked at fur covered window.

And because of the snow, I didn't allow any of my mates to train. Less they get lost outside the village due to how hard the snow was falling and it was hard to see.

And also because of this, Xavier hasn't visited me for a few days now. Which is totally okay with me because I don't want him to freeze in the snow, well not like it's gonna happen since his a six star but I'm not taking any risk.

I then slowly began eating the soup before looking at my mates. "What about you guys? Do you have some soup left?" I asked to which Rio nodded.

"Yes we do, but I put all the short bird meat in your bowl" he said making me look at my soup and there were indeed a lot of meat.

"Don't worry about us. You need that meat more than we do to keep your body healthy" Rio said making me sigh and nod.

I then continued eating the soup before handing him the empty bowl. "Do you want to play chess later? Or do you have any more games you want to teach us? We enjoyed playing chess" Rio said with a smile.

"Umm, we can try bingo" I said which made them tilt their head. "What do you need for it? We can try looking for it when the snow fall lessens" Lucas said which made me nod with a smile.

"Well, we have many wood here so it's not hard to get charcoal. Hmm maybe some stones to write in" I said and tried to recall what else we need.

"I think that's about it" I said after a few hours of thinking. "But oh, do bring a lot of stones if you can cause we can use those to play other games!" I clasped my hands together and looked at them with a grin which made them chuckle.

"Alright little mate, whatever you want" Tora said after he shifted back to his human form. "I'm not little!" I huffed and crossed my arms which just made them laugh more.

"You are small compared to us. But all females are like that so don't worry little mate" Tora laughed as he ruffled my hair which made me glare at him.

"Other females look scary when their angry but you look cute" he said as he pinched my cheeks.

"What other games are you planning on teaching us?" Kei asked as he too shifted back to his human form.

"Umm, well we got tic tac toe, hang man.. And oh! We can play a memory game where we carve this symbols on a piece of rock by pair and then put them backwards in a random pattern and then flip them over to try and find which symbol matches the one you flip first.

And I'll try thinking of other fun games we can play during the cold season" I grinned which made them nod with a smile.

"Now.. Can one of you accompany me to the sand pit.. I wanna pee" I muttered which made them blink for a moment before they burst out laughing which made my face flush.

"Shut it!" I glared at them which resulted to them laughing harder before Archie shifted back to his human form, still laughing and carried me.

Before we left the room, I made sure I was wearing a few layer of furs before leaving the house. Even with Archie hugging me close to his body and the extra layers of fur I was wearing, the cold still penetrated through me.

"I hate cold season" I muttered as I lean in closer to Archie. 'When will this end' I whined out to myself as we arrived at the sand pit. And I was thankful that I made this one to look like a bathroom so I can safely do my business in private while Archie waited outside.

Once I was done, I quickly washed my ass and hands with some slightly warm water, which surprised me, and went back to Archie.

He picked me up once again and we both went back inside the house, where it was warm and comfy.

As promised!! I did a double update today for you guys to enjoy! Although this was a bit short so I hope you guys still enjoyed this update!

And oh! Maybe by tomorrow or Sunday I'll publish a chapter containing the characters in this story! So stay tuned for that!!
