let me rewrite the story

I nervously waited for Kenji's response after answering all the questions he had. Although some were left unanswered since I really didn't wanna tell him yet where I am originally from until we mated.

Although I felt guilty about it, since he will be mated to me all his life yet he didn't know all about me before we even mated and what if he changed his mind after hearing my story?

But I knew deep down, that whenever I told him the truth or no I know he will still like me. "Alright, I'll listen to you and prepare for it. It's better to be safe than sorry after all" he smiled and gently patted my head, which made me sigh in relief and smile back at him.

"We should prepare some more firewood, for us and for those who will take shelter here if the flood destroys their villages" I said and Kenji nodded in response.

"I'll tell my guards to gather a bit more firewood, while me and the others can gather for the one's we're gonna use" Kenji said making me hum in response before I stared at him.

He tilted his head at me, asking if I need something else. "Let's mate later" I muttered, feeling my face flush red as those words left my mouth.

Kenji's eyes went wide a little and Tora let out a chuckle. "Your getting bolder and bolder in asking us to mate with you" Tora said making me smack him lightly, to which he just laugh more.

"Alright, I'll be sure to finish all my works later to spend time with you" Kenji said and I just absently nodded my head. "Alright" I mumbled as I watch him happily walk away.

"Your getting bolder and bolder huh" Tora teased me which made me send him a small glare to which he just chuckled at.

"Hmmp" I huffed at him as he ruffled my hair. "Come on, Kei did say he wanted to walk around the castle with you" He said and I nodded and went back to the dining area where Kei and Kali were waiting.

"Let's go?" Kei asked, excitement was evident in his voice and his tail was swishing happily behind him. "Alright, let's go" I said and we went out.

We first started at the back part of the castle. Countless average size tress lined up along the path, each of them bearing different kind of fruits. Some that I know and some that I don't know.

At the very end, there was a clear river flowing. Small fish can be seen swimming near the river bank, smooth looking and round peppbles can be seen in the river and on the river bank.

"Woah, so clear" I said as I walked over to the river, crouching near it. "So cool" I mumbled as I put my hand in the river, feeling the cool water hit my hand.

"Do you wanna stay here for now? Or continue walking around?" Kali asked as he stared at me with a fond smile. "Hm, we can go back here later so let's just continue the walk for now" I smiled at stood up, wiping my hand in my skirt.

We then continued looking around the back side. "Oh, I can have Tora or even you Kali make a swing here for me. The trees here provide excellent shading and the breeze is nice" I said and turned to Kali while we continued walking.

"What's a swing?" Kei asked and I explained what a swing to him. "Well it's like a seat, just good for one person and is being held by two vines or ropes. The seat is either made by wood or metal in my world so I think we can just use wood" I said and Kali nodded.

"I'll go tell Tora about it later, where do you wanna put it?" He asked and I pointed to the space between a mango and apple tree. "Over there would be good, the shade is nice and it's between the trees so I'm sure it'll be nice to take a nap there during a hot day" I said and he nodded.

"Hm, maybe I should also ask Kenji if I can plant some flowers here" I said as I remembered seeing some empty ground earlier that I can plant some flowers like roses, or tulips or any kind of interesting flowers I can see here.

"I'm sure he'll agree" Kei said and I nodded. "Alright let's go take a look inside now" I said and we walk inside, touring the whole castle. From the basement all the way to the third floor.

The ground floor or the basement was located beneath the castle. It served as a storage room, filled with furs, firewoods, scented woods used for cooking and many other things.

The next one was where the throne room was located, it had many rooms too for guards to stay in. The second floor was mostly composed of rooms, fitted for when disasters strikes and many beastmen lost their homes and are in need for a place to stay. Although it's mostly for the females to stay in.

And the last floor was where we we're staying, other's who aren't part of the fox King's family weren't allowed to even step in the stairs.

"Let's go find Kenji, I wanna ask him if I can plant some flowers in the back" I said and they just nodded. We then went back down, and went to the throne room where Kenji was currently talking to the other foxes.

He smiled at me once he saw me, and the other foxes also turned towards me, curious on why their king suddenly stopped talking and smiled.

Their eyes slightly went wide when they saw me and gave me a small bow before returning their attention to Kenji, patiently waiting for him to continue speaking.

"You should probably finish talking to them first, I'll just patiently wait here" I said and went to a corner with Kali and Kei in tow and stood there, waiting for them to continue their talk.

All the foxes looked at me, then at their king before looking back at me. "I think that will be all for now king Kenji, let us continue this talk next time. We don't want to interrupt your time with your mate" A fox said.

He was almost as tall as Kenji, he had light blue hair that match his silvery blue eyes. His tail lazily flicked behind him as he stared at me, before staring back at Kenji.

"Very well then Nathan, we well continue this tomorrow. You are all dismissed" Kenji said and watch as the other foxes quickly scurried out of the throne room, finally giving us some privacy.

"We will prepare plenty of firewood as you instructed King Kenji. I will also take my leave now" the fox, known as Nathan now, said and took a glance at me before shifting into a beautiful black fox and running off out of the room.

"Sera? What brings you here?" Kenji asked as he went to us, a fond smile plastered on his face as he approached us.

"Well, I came here to ask permission if I can plant some flowers in the back part of the castle" I said and Kenjie just chuckled at me and nodded his head as he slightly ruffled my hair.

"Of course you can, no need to ask permission. It's all gonna be yours once you become the queen" Kenji smiled and showed me a very fond look.

"You can do whatever you want to the back part of the castle, you have my permission" Kenji said and that was all it took for me to tow my mates outside and began planting flowers all over the back part of the castle.
