let me rewrite the story

It had been several days since we arrived back at Blackwood city. I'm now currently sitting inside the room Kenji provided for us in the third floor.

I gaze outside the big window in the room, seeing the tall hills and mountains in the distance and the lush green Forest outside of the city.

While I gaze outside, I couldn't shake the feeling of something bad was about to happen, it made me feel very uneasy as I continued to gaze outside, trying to remember anything in the novel that might be able to help me.

"Sera? You still haven't eaten yet. Why don't you come downstairs for now?" Tora said as he entered the room. "But I don't feel hungry yet" I answered as I turned my attention to him.

"Is there something wrong? I can sense your unease and discomfort through the mark" He said as he went to stand besides me, his tail gently wrapped around my thigh.

"I don't know, I just feel like something is about to happen but I don't know what" I mumbled and leaned against him with a sigh.

"Well, why don't you eat first? And maybe then we can help you figure it out. Plus we need to cover this window since Carlos mentioned it might rain" Tora said as he gaze outside the window.

"We also need more firewood to prepare for it" Tora mumbled to himself and with that something click in my head.

'Wait! That's right! In the novel it was stated that in the first drizzle season after Sera and Cassie arrived there was a big flood that happened. Many homes and villages were destroyed because of it!' I thought and quickly gaze at Tora.

"Tora that's it! Rain!" I said which made him tilt his head in confusion. I chuckled a bit before quickly telling him what I just remembered.

"I need to tell Kenji about this so he can prepare" He said making me nod a bit hesitantly. "Are you sure he'll believe it?" I asked, a bit unsure if Kenji will believe it.

"Of course he would. You have no reason to lie about this, and if you read about this then it's probably true. It's better to be safe than sorry, we might be able to save countless lives because of this" Tora said as he patted my head.

"Now let's go and eat. I'm sure your hungry" he said and right on cue my stomach growled which made him chuckle. "See? Let's go now. Kei and Kali found some short birds so I'm gonna make a coop later for them" Tora said and I hummed in response.

"We might need a few then, I do like to eat them and the eggs they lay are tasty" I said which made him chuckle and nod.

"Anything for you little mate, I'll go with Lucas and Rio later to get some more. The cubs, Archie and Carlos also enjoy the eggs so it's better if we have more" He said and I nodded with a smile.

"Kenji, I need to talk with you please" Tora said once we arrived at the dining area of the castle.

"Alright then" Kenji said and followed after Tora to the throne room. "We have some bacon, eggs, corn and strawberry for you" Archie said as he picked uno by the neck when Uno wanted to run to me while I took the plate that Xavier handed.

"Hey Archie, are you gonna take the cubs hunting again soon?" I asked and watch as Archie nod while he stared at the cubs, probably telling them to behave and not to bother me while I eat.

"I'll take them out later and teach them what they need to know. The sooner they learn to hunt the better" Archie said and I just nodded in response.

"Alright, just be sure to keep them safe" I said and he nodded with a smile. "Don't worry, I will" he said as he watch his cubs go and bother someone else since they couldn't get to me.

And the unfortunate guy was Denver, poor guy was just sitting there not knowing what to do as my cubs tried to climb at his shoulders. "Cubs, stop bother him. Why don't you go and bother Carlos? Look his tail is over there" I called out and pointed at Carlos who looked at me with a huff.

Denver's eyes shine with thankfulness as my cubs finally left him alone. After all he didn't know what to do and he was the only herbivore male in my whole family.

"Don't worry about them, the most they can do is bite your feet" I told Denver who nodded in response as he watch Carlos lift his tail up while Dos was still clinging into it.

"Damn cubs" Carlos huff as he tried to shake his tail to drop Dos off. Dos did feel down, but it didn't stop him to try and climb Carlos tail again, Uno and Tres also followed after their brother.

"I'll pass having cubs this time" Carlos groaned as he shaked his tail more to drop my three cubs who were desperately clinging into his tail.

I let out a small laugh of amusement and just continued eating. Listening to Archie and Carlos argue, Archie telling him not to use stupid words in front of his cubs and Carlos still saying it despite Archie telling him not to.

"Make sure not to injure yourself to much" I told them as I know they were gonna probably spar because of this, but I also knew that they wouldn't go too serious about it. It's just some training, well that also includes seeing Archie flying a few feet off the ground and landing on some bushes or landing on a tree.

"Sera, do you wanna take a look around the Castle later?" Kei asked making me think for a moment before nodding.

"Alright" I smiled and watch his tail swish in delight Which made me chuckle. "Sera, can I come?" Kali chimed in and I hummed in response and watch as Kali stick his tongue out at Kei.

"Sera, Kenji wants to talk" Tora said as he entered the dining area again. "Alright I'll be there" I said and stood up, I washed my hands at a basin that they had prepared for me and went with Tora, ready to answer each question Kenji had in store for me.
