Chapter 43

BRIONNA P.O.V.

I dropped the kids off at school and made my way to the rental office. First of the month and rent was due. I just wanted to take time off and rest. Once the baby gets here I am taking my time off and hiring a nanny. I wanna sleep for like 7 days straight! I was so fuckin exhausted. I have to do everything myself now. I was completely over this shit!

When I got here my door was wide open and the glass was broken. Alice my secretary was pulling up as the same time as me. I got out the car running over to my building and going in as she followed behind me. Everything was trashed. The entire building was trashed. Paper work was everywhere, graffiti was all over the walls and floors, my office was destroyed! James office was un touched. It looked like a tornado hit my entire building.

I sat down in the waiting room in disbelief, mouth to the floor. "I'm calling the police!" Alice said in complete shock. I couldn't say anything I was heart broken. Everything I've ever worked for was destroyed.

Do you want me to call your husband as well? She asked concerned.

I couldn't even answer because I was just in a state of shock.

My phone started ringing and it was the kids school. I tried to answer it as calmly as possible. "Hi Mrs Carter, we need you to come in ASAP!" The principal said as I answered.

Okay! I hung up the phone and put it back in my purse. "Alice please take care of this I'll be back I have to see what's going on with my kids, please keep me updated before I lose my mind!"

Okay I will!

I got up slowly as my body filled with pain. I made my way to the car and I could feel contractions in the back of my lower back and ass. It made me tense up for a second before getting in my car. Stress triggers these Braxton hicks.

I pulled up to the school and made my way in. Both of my kids where in the office and the police. "What's going on?" I asked confused.

After you dropped the kids off this morning, a lady came in trying to sign them out. She wasn't on there pick up sheets but she was so adamant about getting them. Well we knew something wasn't right because your very protective of your children and if it's not you or dad we know not to release them to anyone plus you had just dropped them off. Anywho, do you know this woman?
The officer showed me a picture of Lisa on the phone and I got so fuckin angry.
"The kids says this lady has followed them
Multiple times, came up to them on the playground, tried to get them to leave with her. When we told we was calling the police she stopped and left quickly.!"

No I don't know that woman at all. No one is to ever pick my children up unless it's me, their father or their emergency contacts which you guys have.

We thought so!

We'll be putting a search out for her as well as an arrest warrant! The officer said.

Thank you, come on babies I'm gonna keep you home today! I grabbed their hands and led them out the school.

Mommy who is the lady? Dream asked confused.

Umm I don't know baby!

She kept asking me what my daddy name was trying to get me to say his name and say that James Carter is my daddy. I told her my daddy name is daddy! She said if I didn't say that, then bad things will happen to me! And she wanted to record it on her phone.

No! I just said my daddy name is daddy! Then that's when Ms.G came over and grabbed me.

Yes! Her said she's my grandma! And I look like my daddy when he was my age. She was scary!

I tried to hurry up and drive home as contractions came and go. Going into having my third child I couldn't handle child birth at all. I felt like this was gonna be the worst one yet.
I made it home and got the kids out the car and called Kyra to come over. I ran a hot bath to help relax my body. I was sure these was just Braxton hicks contractions but they was so intense.

Mommy are you okay? Dream asked coming into my bathroom.

Yes baby I'm fine.

Is the baby okay? Is it a boy or girl?

Umm I don't know yet, what do you want it to be?

Mmmm I don't know! She giggled. "Maybe a girl!"

What would we name her?

I like the name Heaven!

That's a beautiful name baby I like that. I smiled through my pain.

Hey you okay? Kyra asked as she came into my bathroom.

Yeah Braxton hicks is tearing me apart. I just really need you to keep an eye on the kids for me please. It's so much going on. I just need to relax for a second the leasing office got broken into. I just need to get my body regulated and under control so I can go back there and see what's going on.

Oh my god what the fuck! Okay don't worry, do what you gotta do! Dreamie let's let mommy be for a second okay. She took Dream out the bathroom and did what she did best. I got out the water and dried off tying my robe around me and getting in the bed. I think that hot bath helped a lot. I was 33 weeks and no where near ready just yet. I always thought I wasn't gonna have any kids and here I am struggling to bring them Into the world full term. Dream was a premie, Malike was full term but I lost a lot of blood delivering him to the point I had to get a blood transfusion. Now this little baby is just causing so much pain it's giving me anxiety.
