BTW Fast forward about 6 months when Thisbe and Fifer are 3 (almost 4)
Alex and Aaron regularly visited the twins and Crow. The habit morphed into a part of their daily routine. Every evening they would break away from their duties eagerly looking forward to spend some family time. Slowly, Thisbe and Fifer grew quite fond of the two identical boys that played with them everyday. Although the boys were usually on time to see their siblings, today seemed to be an exception. Both Thisbe and Fifer realised this and asked crow when their brothers would come every 5 seconds. After 10 slow minutes Alex and Aaron could be seen racing toward the trio on the lawn.
"Sorry, got held up" Aaron huffed catching his breath. With crow's questioning look Alex explained.
"We were in jungle. We went so that I could meet the statues there but as it turns out the Scorpion stung the dog. So we had to help him too which took up some time."
While Alex was explaining, Alex and Aaron had taken a seat on the grass in the shade, and gestured for the girls to come. Fifer ran towards Alex while Thisbe lunged for Aaron. Alex tickled and pulled her into his lap.
"So what are we doing today" Aaron asked while Thisbe played with his hair. Before anyone could answer Alex was called by Simber who had apparently found something important. Skeptically, Alex waved good-bye to the group before following Simber.
Crow and Aaron looked at their silhouettes moving towards the mansion. As they both turned their attention back to each other they were met with an awkward situation. The two had never been alone before. Technically they weren't alone thanks to the twins, nevertheless it was uncomfortable. Not sure what to do, he busied himself with his sisters. Crow could tell Aaron felt uneasy, and that was crow's fault. He thought back to when Aaron first arrived here to help defeat Gondoleery Ratrrapp. When Aaron was free he had wanted to see his sisters, and Crow stood in his way. He remembered that he had given Aaron some pretty hurtful comments. Now, after getting to know Aaron much better, and seeing how gentle he was Crow regretted it. He could tell Aaron had changed a lot and Crow felt bad that he had behaved rashly. He desperately wanted to make it right but he didn't where to start and what to say. It seemed so much easier to just avoid everything, pretend it never happened and pretend things were fine right now. But, Crow knew he owed Aaron and apology, so Crow hesitantly turned towards Aaron. Crow noticed that he had taken to playing hide and seek with his siblings. Aaron either didn't notice the gesture, or didn't care. Disencouraged Crow sat back down and contemplated his emotions. Nearly an half hour later Aaron turned to Crow.
"I have to get going now"
Crow nodded curtly and Aaron walked off towards the mansion. Crow sighed, although he was relieved the uncomfortable situation disentigrated he felt like he missed an opportunity to right his wrong.

Later, when the girls were asleep Crow took a walk hoping to settle his thoughts. Alex, who had spied the boy hosting a guilty look on his face approached him.
"Hey Crow, are you okay? Are the girls giving you trouble?"
Crow, snapped his head up and reluctantly met Alex's eyes. Crow knew he could talk to Alex, it was comforting. If he couldn't talk to Alex who else would he talk to? His best friend Henry bore more responsibility nowadays has healer, his sister was there ofcourse but she would chide him for his behaviour. Likewise each person he thought to approach, had consequence he wasn't prepared to face. However he trusted Alex, just as much as his sister or mother. Alex's eyes were warm and welcoming even though he had so many duties Alex made time for his friends and family. Although Alex and Aaron shared the same physical features, crow felt they were world's of differences between their personalities. With a deep breath he composed himself.
"Yes, I am fine, the girls aren't trouble they're really sweet, they are asleep rightnow. It's just....... I made a mistake." Crow said miserably.
Alex eyed the boy, "You know, it's ok to make mistakes, what's important is how you come back from it, I have made so many mistakes that were life threatening to not only myself but others around me too. However, there is always a second chance, don't overthink it and just do what you can to make it right."
Crow nodded thoughtfully.
"And, you know you can talk to me.....As far as I am concerned your like my brother........ so I am here for you." Alex said placing his hand on Crow's shoulder. Then he added sincerely, "Don't forget that."
Crow's eyes were glistening. Without warning he hugged Alex, and Alex grinned before embracing him too. After Crow explained in detail Alex shook his head laughing.
"Honestly, you are making too big of a deal out of this! Just speak from your heart and he will listen."
"Tomorrow" Crow said determined
"Or today," Alex said mischievously, pointing to his twin exiting the mansion.
Noticing the discomfort on Crow's face, Alex hastily added "if you're ready. But you know, there is no point in delaying the inevitable"
With Crow's approval, Alex greeted his twin and sent him over to where Crow was standing. Then, Alex slowly slipped away.
