Chapter 12 - Almost Siblings

Alex and Aaron left the scene, with Alex helping Aaron walk. Sean and Seth were left alone and they both sat down. "Seth, I've been wanting to talk to you for a while now. I know how you must feel about the baby. You might be feeling a little left out? That maybe the baby is stealing all the attention, and taking over your life already? That, Maybe we don't love you anymore?"

"Wow, how did you know that? I didn't think anyone would understand."

"It's because I was in the same position as you. I had a younger sister. Her name was Meghan. Before she was born I hated her. I felt all the same overwhelming feelings you are feeling and I thought the same crushing thoughts you are thinking. Since I went through that, I can connect with you emotionally on a different level than your mom can in this case. And I just want you to know I am here for you. Like we promised each other, we are going to get through this together. I won't leave you stranded, and Carina and I definitely won't love you any less just because another baby is on the way."

"You had a sister?! I didn't know that. Wait, did you call her Meg?"

"I still do, how do you know?"

"I've heard you and other people talk about her....I remember once when Thisbe and Fifer were staying with us and Alex drew us that 3D dragon (chapter - 9 Don't leave me) Alex and You said I reminded you guys of Meg."

"Yeah well, you still do. To be brutally honest with you Seth, your feeling, will only get worse. When Carina and I have to spend more time with your brother or sister, you will feel really left out. I hated Meg before she was born. Then I was annoyed that my parents spent so much time on her all the time. But she loved being with me more than either of my parents. When I saw that, I realized I would let the world burn for her. I think you'll feel the same way, but just know that I'm here for you..... to talk to. Whenever you need me, as long as you need me, and even longer. It's my duty, but it's also my pleasure."

Seth smiled. "I understand. Things change. But I hope this never does, he said hugging his Step-father. "Wait where is Meghan, can I meet her?" Seth asked animatedly.

"She...she's not here. She is with your father, and Mr Today, and your grandmother. But we'll see them all again someday."

Seth nodded solemnly. "What are you going to name the baby?"

"I don't know, I've Carina and I liked names that start with Lu... Luna, or Lulu, If it's a girl. Or maybe Ava, or Katie. If it's a boy, something like Luke, or Luka. We are not sure. But Carina told me, they had so many wonderful names picked out for you, but none of them just felt right. Then she found the perfect name. So I'm hoping I'll know when I see him, or her. You have any ideas?

"Don't name him Luke, it rhymes with puke."

"You're right, that makes sense," Sean said sniffling a laugh

"Why don't you try Lukas? It's the name you guys picked with an S for Sean"

" I like it, Lukas, with an S for Seth." Sean winked. Seth smiled looking forward to meeting Lukas, or Luna.

"Did you know, when my mom was screaming at me earlier, she said my BROTHER was giving her too much trouble. Not brother or sister."

"I've noticed that too! Carina is sure it's a boy, she says she can feel it."

"I hope I get a brother, I like the name Lukas more than Luna." Sean opened his mouth to reply but a loud scream caused him to snap his head toward the voice.

"SEAN, Carina says it's time!" Kaylee screamed running towards them.

"NOW!!!"
