Just trust me you'll be fine
"You look like you've been hit by a bus," Buck says as he cautiously enters the living room. Eleanor's mood swings have increased even more so with all the new symptoms.
Eleanor glared at him. "Thanks, I kinda feel like it too."
"I just wanted to come check on you. You haven't moved in like three hours. And I brought you more water and some juice in case you were tired of water."
"I feel like if I move I'm going to puke again and I really don't wanna puke again. I've already puked like four times today."
Buck covered his mouth, feeling a tad nauseous himself. "Please stop saying puke."
Eleanor looked over at him with a small smile. "Aw, is Daddy finally getting the pregnancy sympathy?"
"That sounded very sarcastic but I'm gonna let it slide this time."
"I really have to pee but I don't have the energy to get up. What's for lunch?" Ever since Buck found out that Eleanor was pregnant he's been cooking every chance he gets so that she doesn't have to. He's gotten pretty good though she still hovers in the kitchen.
"What're you feeling today?" Eleanor thought for a long moment.
"Chocolate-covered bacon."
"That sounds disgusting," Buck scrunched his nose.
Eleanor rolled her eyes. "Pickles, ice cream, peanut butter, sour candy.."
"Together?"
"No.. maybe."
"I knew cravings were gonna be weird but I didn't think they'd be this weird."
"Okay, I'll settle for sushi. California rolls, with that sauce. And those sour gummy worms."
"Can you even eat sushi?"
"Yes as long as it's not raw fish." Buck nodded. He walked over to the couch, leaned down, and kissed Eleanor's forehead before heading to the kitchen.
"I'll be back, text me if you think of anything else."
A few minutes after Buck left Eleanor finally worked up the energy to go to the bathroom. When she was done she plopped back down on the couch and turned the TV on. She flipped through the channels for what felt like forever but couldn't find anything interesting. After having no luck with cable she flipped to Netflix. She flipped through, most things she and Buck had already watched. Finally, she settled on Greys Anatomy.

"Sorry, it took so long. I had to go to three different stores for the gummy worms and the sushi place you love was packed." Buck walked to the living room, bags in hand. He set them on the coffee table before sitting down next to Eleanor. She was wrapped up in a blanket, eyes glued to the TV. "Are you crying because of the show?"
Eleanor looked at Buck, tear stains streaked down her face. "Denny died."
"You've seen this like ten times."
"And it still gets me every time."
"Warn me before you get to the plane crash." Buck started picking through the bags.
Eleanor's mouth dropped open. "Don't remind me. I prefer to just skip those episodes and pretend they didn't happen."
"You're adorable. Sushi or worms first?"
"Sushi." Buck handed her the trey. "Did you get chopsticks?" He was already handing them to her before she finished. "You're the best."
"How the peach?" Eleanor moved the blanket and rubbed her belly. Buck placed a hand over the small bump that was slowly becoming more noticeable.
About two hours later, after eating, laughing, and crying at the TV, Buck and Eleanor had fallen asleep on the couch. Eleanor was snuggled into Buck's side, one leg draped over his which were propped up on the coffee table. Buck's hand rested on her belly.

The next morning when Eleanor woke she was in bed. She didn't remember making it to bed, she remembered falling asleep on the couch which meant that Buck had carried her to bed. That was a normal thing lately. She'd get home from work and have no energy and then she'd fall asleep on the couch. Eleanor could smell the bacon wafting from downstairs. Her mouth watered as she made her way down.
"Good morning sunshine," Buck smiled at her.
Eleanor smiled but it was quickly replaced as she covered her mouth and ran to the bathroom. Buck quickly followed her. He knelt beside her, holding her hair back. Eleanor lifted her face from the toilet bowl long enough to say, "The bacon smelled a lot better from upstairs."
Buck chuckled. "I'm sorry, you were talking about bacon yesterday so I figured I'd make some."
"I appreciate the thought." Eleanor leaned back, leaning her head on Buck's chest. "I should probably brush my teeth and get ready for work."
"I'll get rid of the bacon. Do you want something else?"
"Just some fruit is fine." Buck nodded, kissed her forehead, and left the bathroom. Eleanor sat on the floor a moment longer, watching Buck from the doorway. She couldn't put into words how much she loved that man. He has been her rock through everything.
She finally worked up some energy and got up to shower. When she walked back out into the kitchen it didn't smell like bacon anymore. Buck had a plate of fruits and some orange juice waiting for her on the counter. She turned and gave him a smile as he walked down the stairs.
"I'm sorry I puked at your cooking." Buck laughed.
"All good. There's a lunch box in the fridge for you, don't forget it."
"Yes Dad, I promise I won't forget it. Thank you."
"I'll call you later when I get a free minute. Have a good day at work. I love you," Buck leaned in and kissed her lips.
"I love you. Be careful at work." Buck smiled at her once more as he walked out the door. Eleanor finished her plate and headed out herself. As she was on her way out the door her phone rang. She answered it without looking at the caller ID, she figured it was probably Buck making sure she didn't forget the lunch box.
"Did you miss me dear?" Michael's voice rang through the speaker. Eleanor stopped in the middle of the hallway.
"How.."
"How did I get your number after you changed it? Or how did I get out of jail? Very rude of you by the way."
"Go to hell."
"Now is that any way to talk to your husband?"
"What? What did you do?"
"Don't worry. You'll know soon enough."
The line went silent. Eleanor stood frozen in the middle of the hallway. What the hell was Michael up to now?
