(Colton and his friends)

"What's up Cole?" Peyton asks as he gives the moping senior a high-five.

"I have to get tutored by a fucking underclassman." Colton mumbles.

"Holy shit really?" Kaitlyn asks as she stops running around at the chance to get some input in the conversation. She loved to gossip and she talked all the time.

"In what class man? And by who?" Jaxon asks as he sits down next to his excited girlfriend.

"By fucking Kory Sage. And in chemistry." Colton. Utters angrily.

"As in Damian Sages brother? The twink?" Jason asks as he starts laughing. "Isn't he gay?"

"Hell if I know. But I'm gonna be stuck with him for the rest of the semester." Colton spits out. "If he tries anything he's gonna have a broken jaw."

"Chill bro. Relax a little. I've heard the Kory doesn't like people. So maybe keep the hitting to a minimum." Kaitlyn says as she brushes her hair and starts the re-braid it.

"Fine." He huffs.

"The kid is smart. Pretty sure he's got straight A's at this point. By he's also only a sophomore." Jaxon says while he play a game on his phone. He was staring so hard at the device that Colton thought it would burst into flames at some point.

"Well, how about you guys come over while he tutors me. That way I won't be alone." Colton says as an idea forms in his head.

"Umm sure? I suppose we could do that. I mean we do practically live with you already don't we?" Jaxon says and he looks away from his game.

"So when is the first session?" Max asks as he joins the group.

"How's you even know what we were talking about?" Colton asks surprises.

"Jaxon was texting me the conversation." Max shrugs. "Now when is the first session?"

"Tomorrow night I think. I don't know we never talked about it." Colton responds and he looks down at his phone.

"Oh, well here your chance to ask. Hey Kory! Come over here." Max calls out to a very startled Kory who looked around in shock.

Kory sighs as he see Colton's friend beckoning him over and starts walking in their direction. He tries to ignore all the stares he was getting. His cheeks unknowingly blushing as he walked to the group.

"Yes?" He asks when he was within earshot of the group.

"Colton doesn't know when or where you'll be doing the tutoring sessions." Max says.

"Oh. I honestly don't care." Kory responds.

"My house or yours?" Colton asks.

"We're neighbors. It doesn't really matter." Kory says and starts walking away.

"Ok. My house at 530." Colton calls out. Kory nods and continues walking away.

"Damn. Why does he have to look so nonchalant about everything." Kaitlyn says.

"What does that mean?" Colton and Max ask at the same time.

"Indifferent? Calm in every situation like it doesn't matter?" Kaitlyn tries to get them to realize that's what it meant. "I'm literally surrounded by idiots."

"Hey!"
