Ingredients:

- 1 can (8 count) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup strawberry jam or preserves
- Oil for frying
- Additional powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Directions:

In a small mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

Transfer the cream cheese mixture to a piping bag fitted with a small round tip or a resealable plastic bag with a corner snipped off.

Flatten each biscuit dough round with your hands or a rolling pin to about 1/4-inch thickness.

Spoon a dollop of strawberry jam onto the center of each flattened biscuit round.

Pipe the cream cheese mixture over the strawberry jam in a circular motion, covering the jam completely.

Fold the biscuit dough over the filling to form a half-moon shape and pinch the edges firmly to seal.

Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 350°F (175°C).

Carefully place the stuffed donuts into the hot oil, a few at a time, and fry until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Remove the fried donuts from the oil using a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

Allow the donuts to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar, if desired.
