Three.
Hisoka was woken up by the sound of knocking at the door and he sat up with a yawn, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. He couldn't see the time but the sun was already shining brightly through the curtain. He tiredly got out of bed and walked to the door, opening it to see Chrollo already dressed and ready to go.
"Morning. What time is it?" Hisoka asked while scratching his head.
"It's 9 am but that's okay," Chrollo said while checking his watch, caressing the side of the redhead's face. "I'll go wait in the lounge while you get ready."
Hisoka nodded and watched as Lucilfer walked away, getting an outfit together for when he finished showering. It's not like he had many options since all of his clothes were back home...
Home? It was weird how he considered the club his home despite what went on behind the scenes. It was most likely the familiarity of it that he missed.
The redhead shook the thoughts from his mind and went into the ensuite bathroom attached to his room, turning on the water. He tried his best to keep the shower short before walking out to put on the clothes he had picked out. Hisoka put on a simple sweatshirt and a pair of jeans before walking out of the room.
Chrollo was on the couch reading a book. He looked up after hearing footsteps approaching his side of the couch. "Are you ready to go?"
Hisoka noticed that he had covered up his tattoo but didn't bring it up, instead nodding in reply to the question. Lucilfer put the book back onto the shelf and picked up his car keys from the side table. They walked to the door together, Chrollo opening it to let Hisoka out first.
"Thank you for cleaning up the bookshelf."
"Oh! You're welcome," Hisoka sputtered in surprise. "I didn't think you'd notice."
Chrollo locked the door and turned to him with what seemed to be a warm smile. "Of course I did. Now come on, let's go."

Chrollo parked outside of the mall and the couple exited the car, Hisoka's eyes widening at the sight of the large building. He had gone shopping with the girls before but it was usually at thrift stores and charity shops since they weren't allowed uptown.
It was beginning to bother him how much he was reminiscing on his past.
When Hisoka heard the locks of the car doors click in place, he followed Chrollo to the entrance; wrapping his arm around his elbow so as to not get lost. He glanced at Lucilfer to make sure he wasn't annoyed but the expression on his face was as calm as always.
They walked around for a bit, allowing Hisoka to examine every storefront until he found one that piqued his interest. He walked in first, Chrollo following close behind him and watching as the redhead had a look around.
"You can choose whatever you like," he said after noticing Hisoka hesitate each time he looked at an article of clothing.
"Are you sure?" He asked cautiously. When Chrollo replied with a firm nod, he began to gingerly pick out a few things all while still being cautious of the price. Not that it helped much.
Hisoka continued to walk around for another 15 minutes before he stumbled upon a skimpy piece of silk. It caught his attention for a few seconds, his hand reaching out to touch it and feel its softness. Maybe I could wear this when we— He let go of it, realising that he was being too forward again, hoping for something that probably wouldn't happen.
A hand gently touched his waist and Hisoka turned his golden gaze to Chrollo who was now swiftly standing beside him. "Aren't you going to buy that?" He asked quietly, making sure that his question was quiet enough only for him to hear.
"I was but I don't think it'll be necessary any time soon..."
"Well, what if I said it would be?" The question made Hisoka blush but his face only seemed to become brighter when Lucilfer put the outfit on top of the pile that was already in his arms. "Let's go pay for what you've picked out."
They both walked to the register, the clothes being placed onto the counter for scanning. The redhead played with the ends of his sweater as Chrollo pulled out his card for the cashier to swipe before picking up their shopping bags. Hisoka followed him as he walked out, the two of them continuing their journey through the mall.
The couple stopped by a few more stores, Hisoka making sure that he got everything that he needed. As time went on Hisoka found himself becoming hungry and Chrollo almost seemed to notice as he offered for them to eat at one of the restaurants. Their lunch was a lot better than whatever Hisoka could ever be able to make.
They conversed with each other over the table and got to know more about each other, Chrollo purposefully being vague as he spoke. Lucilfer paid for their meal and the two stood up to leave, picking up their bags in the process.
"Oh, I need to go to the bathroom second," Hisoka blurted out, his partner raising a brow as he took the rest of the bags.
"Okay, I'll meet you at the car. Just don't take too long," he said before walking towards the entrance, letting the redhead make his way to the mall restrooms.
When Hisoka reached the restroom, it was a lot cleaner than expected and he made sure to be as quick as possible. He washed his hands and walked out, making sure that he was walking in the same direction that Chrollo had. As Hisoka reached the exit, there was suddenly a strong grip on his arm and when he attempted to pull away, the grip only tightened.
The redhead turned around, a scowl on his face as he was face to face with a pudgy, pink-faced man. "Excuse me? Is there something I can help you with?"
"You're Hisoka, right?" He asked, breathing heavily.
Did he run after me? Hisoka felt himself begin to panic a bit and he looked around a bit, not spotting Chrollo's car. "I don't know why you'd want to know that—"
"Oh, come on. You work at that club, right? I know you haven't been there in a while but I'm willing to pay whatever price you want, yeah?"
The redhead was disgusted by the request and he stepped on the man's foot, causing him to let go. He was used to these types of requests but never outside of his workplace and this man stating this boldly in public made him uncomfortable. "Listen, I don't work there anymore and even if I did, I don't take requests outside of shifts. Now, can you leave me the fuck alone?"
His face seemed to turn a darker shade of red at the embarrassment, raising a hand to Hisoka before pale fingers gripped the suit of his sleeve. The man looked up and was met with Chrollo who had a calm smile on his lips, hiding the sinister intent behind it. "Don't you think you're being a little rude?"
"Who the hell are you?!" The old man exclaimed, his round face seeming to explode out of his suit.
"I'm Hisoka's boyfriend so how about you just leave and not cause any issues?" Chrollo could feel him trying to fight out of his grasp and twisted his wrist, the man grunting in pain. "Hisoka, go wait for me in the car."
"But—" The blank stare he got in reply made him go silent. "Yes, Sir..."
The redhead walked away, glancing back to see Chrollo still talking politely to the man who had a pained expression on his face. He tried his best not to bother himself with it too much and sat in the front seat of the car. Hisoka began to feel mildly agitated by Lucilfer not coming back before the driver's door opened, the dark-haired man climbing in.
Chrollo reached over to click in Hisoka's seatbelt and started the car, the ride being a lot more silent than usual. The quiet was beginning to get to him.
"I'm sorry if I inconvenienced you in any way."
"It's fine. Just ask for help next time, alright?" Hisoka nodded and the pair continued their way to Chrollo's apartment.

Just for fun, this is how I imagine Hisoka dressing before he met Chrollo. (And if anyone knows the artist please let me know so I can add credits)
