Our Brave Little Hot shot and BFFs VS Brain Tumor Fire

Chapter 1

Heatwave and Quickshadow are happily married and living in Fort Worth Texas. They are living a very good life. Things were going well for them. They were so happy to be together.

"I am so happy and looking forward to spending the rest of my life with you," Heatwave said.

"I am happy too," Quickshadow said.

They bought a nice house. The house had a backyard. There was three rooms, and bathroom. They began to settle into their lives there.

They were very busy. They were very happy with their lives there. Soon they began discussing starting a family.

The two of them couldn't have children's physically due to Heatwave being infertile. So they decided to adopt a child instead. They were looking forward to giving an orphan a home. They were approved to adopt. Now they were looking for a child to adopt.

They wanted a child anywhere from 2 to 5 years old. They were searching for children that fit that criteria. Then they found the child they were looking for. The child a was a little four year old boy named Hot shot. Hot shot has been looking for a family since he was a baby. They were looking forward to bringing him home. 

They got ready for him and made sure his room was ready. They knew Hot shot might be a little nervous but they were going to help him feel loved.

Then a couple of weeks later Heatwave and Quickshadow came to get their adopted child Hot shot. They signed the papers and saw Hot shot. Hot shot was a little bit nervous about meeting them.

"Hello Hot shot," Quickshadow said.

"Hi there," Heatwave said.

"Hi," Hot shot said.

"Are you ready to come home with us?" Quickshadow said.

"Yes," Hot shot said.

Hot shot was still getting settled into his new home with Heatwave and Quickshadow. They were doing many things to bond with him. They were taking good care of him. Hot shot was very happy about this and was feeling very happy about this. Hot shot was wondering if this was going to be his forever home.

Many in the family and family friends were doing their best to make Hot shot feel safe and welcome. Boulder his father's good friend made a playset for Hot shot. Hot shot was happy to have it. "I love it!" Hot shot said.

"I am glad you like it," Boulder said.

Heatwave, Quickshadow and Hot shot were all becoming very close. They were so happy to have each other now. The social worker was making sure everything was going okay. They wanted to make sure Hot shot was happy and healthy in his new family. Which he was and that was a good thing too.

Then in April the adoption was made official. Now Hot shot was officially part of the family. "I have a mommy and daddy now," Hot shot said.

"That's right you do," Heatwave said.

"We now have you as a son and we are so happy," Quickshadow said.

They were all so happy and were going to stay close. Soon Hot shot was going to be starting school. Hot shot was looking forward to that too. Hot shot was hoping to make some new friends too. Hot shot is a very healthy child and his parents were happy about that too. They were looking forward to raising Hot shot as their own as he grows up.

Their lives were just perfect.

However soon things were going to change. This type of change is never easy but it can either break you or make you stronger. It is times like that when depending on family and friends are most important.
