Heatwave and Quickshadow are a happily married couple. They live in Fort Worth Texas together. Heatwave is Firefighter and Quickshadow is a pediatric oncologist who works at Cook Children's hospital. They are very happy. Soon the adopt a baby boy they name Hot shot. They are so happy to have him and love him very much. They tell Hot shot from the beginning he is adopted. Hot shot accepts that. Dr. Erret sends Hot shot to Cook Children's hospital to get an MRI. The MRI reveals that Hot shot has a brain tumor. Hot shot's tumor is biopsied and they do tests on the sample. Then Hot shot is diagnosed with Medulloblastoma a type of brain cancer. Hot shot is very brave and ready to fight his cancer.
