John sighs as he looks at the King. the Negotiations were going on for two-Planetary hours now and things were going nowhere.
"Your Majesty, I understand your hesitance, but the Separatist is for the People." John tried to reason with the king.
"But the Republic claim the same thing." Katuunko rebutted back.
John sighed again, but before he could speak again, Kreig came to John. "Commander, we have reports that Charger c700 cruiser appeared from hyperspace, the Weeping Angel, Republic's Folly and The Black Pearl are moving to engage, but it has launched an escape pod, scans report of three clones and a small lifeform." The Droid commander told him.
"The Jedi!" John realized as he looked at the king. "You asked for a jedi to come here, worse yet a GRANDMASTER!?"
King Katuunko's expression remained calm and composed, but his eyes revealed a flicker of concern. "Captain Ross, I understand your position, but the Republic has long been a protector of Toydaria. I requested the Jedi to ensure we hear both sides."
John took a deep breath, striving to maintain his composure despite the new complication. "Your Majesty, the Jedi's presence complicates matters. Their influence can sway opinions based on their perceived moral authority. However, I urge you to consider the tangible benefits and autonomy that joining the Separatists can provide."
Before King Katuunko could respond, a new voice cut through the tension. "Captain Ross, you speak passionately about your cause, but actions often speak louder than words."
John turned to see a tall, robed figure approaching. It was Yoda, the Jedi Grandmaster, flanked by two Clone Troopers. The small lifeform mentioned in the escape pod report was none other than Yoda himself.
"Grandmaster Yoda," John acknowledged, trying to hide his frustration. "Your presence here is unexpected."
Yoda's eyes twinkled with a mixture of wisdom and amusement. "Unexpected, my presence may be, but necessary, it is. Hear both sides, King Katuunko must, to make the best decision for his people."
Katuunko nodded, clearly appreciative of Yoda's support. "Thank you for coming, Master Yoda. Your wisdom is always valued."
John clenched his jaw, but quickly regained his composure. "Very well, Your Majesty. If we are to have a fair discussion, let us proceed. However, I must insist that we maintain the integrity of these negotiations without interference from either side."
Yoda inclined his head. "Agreed, Captain. Fair and just, our discussion shall be."
As the negotiations resumed, John presented his case with renewed vigor, emphasizing the economic benefits, increased security, and autonomy that Toydaria would gain by aligning with the Separatist Alliance. He highlighted the corruption and inefficiency within the Republic, using recent events as evidence of their decline.
Yoda listened patiently, his expression serene. When it was his turn to speak, he focused on the values of the Republic, the long-standing relationships with member worlds, and the Jedi's commitment to peace and justice. He acknowledged the Republic's flaws but emphasized the efforts being made to address them.
King Katuunko listened intently to both sides, clearly weighing the arguments carefully. The tension in the room was palpable, and John knew that the outcome of these negotiations could significantly impact the war.
After hours of discussion, Katuunko finally spoke. "Captain Ross, Master Yoda, I appreciate the perspectives you have both shared. This decision is not one I take lightly. The well-being of Toydaria and its people is my primary concern."
