John sighed as he looked out over the bridge of his prized Venator, the Enterprise. Kreig stood silently behind him, ever the stalwart presence, while Trine commanded the Black Pearl. They were currently in hyperspace, en route to Rodia to negotiate with Senator Onaconda Farr. The Rodians had been suffering due to the Republic's faltering supply chain, and the Separatists saw an opportunity to win their allegiance with much-needed supplies like food and medicine.

'Whoever thought of using our supply chain to make moves on our systems is idiotic, operating on a single brain cell.' John thought, shaking his head as he stared into the swirling blue of hyperspace.

Originally, Nute Gunray was supposed to lead these negotiations, but a mysterious 'accident' had befallen him while under Nolen's guard before the Battle of Atraken. In his place, Dalvil Preez, the new Viceroy of the Trade Federation and father of Nolen Preez, had taken up the task.

As they neared their destination, John turned to Dalvil, who stood in the command room, his presence commanding and dignified. "So, Dalvil, how does it feel to be the new Viceroy of the Trade Federation?" John asked, breaking the silence. This was his first time meeting the father of his friend and ally, Nolen.

Dalvil smiled, a calculated expression that spoke of years of experience in politics and trade. "It is a role filled with both great honor and great responsibility, Captain Ross. The challenges are immense, but so are the opportunities. I understand you have been instrumental in securing several key victories for our cause."

John nodded. "We've had some successes, but the war is far from over. The Republic is resourceful, and their tactics are evolving. But with allies like Senator Farr, we can tip the scales in our favor."

"Indeed," Dalvil replied. "Rodia's strategic position and resources make it a valuable ally. We must ensure that Senator Farr understands the benefits of our partnership. The supplies we're offering could make all the difference for his people."

Kreig stepped forward, his voice steady and precise. "Captain, we will arrive at Rodia shortly. All preparations for the negotiations are complete. The supplies are ready for delivery upon securing the agreement."

"Excellent." John said, glancing at Kreig. "Dalvil, you're leading the negotiations. I'll be there to support, but this is your show. We need Farr on our side, and we need him to stay loyal."

Dalvil nodded, his confidence unwavering. "Leave it to me, Captain. I will ensure that Rodia sees the value in aligning with the Confederacy."

As the Enterprise dropped out of hyperspace, the planet Rodia came into view, its lush green surface a stark contrast to the cold void of space. The crew prepared for descent, their mission clear. They would secure the alliance with Rodia and strengthen their position in the ongoing conflict.

"Let's get to work." John said, determination in his voice. "For the Confederacy."

The shuttle descended towards Rodia, carrying John, Dalvil, Kreig, and a contingent of droid guards. The negotiations ahead were crucial, and the outcome could significantly impact the balance of power in the region. As they landed and prepared to meet with Senator Farr, John steeled himself for the task at hand. The battle for hearts and minds was just as critical as any fought with blasters and starships.

"Remember the plan." John whispered to Dalvil, who nodded.

"I trust my son with my life Marine, I hope you can say the same." Dalvil whispered back as the shuttle landed.

John gave a small nod in acknowledgment, understanding the weight of Dalvil's words. The shuttle touched down on the lush green surface of Rodia, and the doors began to open, revealing the vibrant landscape outside.
