The second time was an old girlfriend, now ex.
Before MJ (especially because Peter thought romance was not her thing, and to be fair, MJ didn't think so at the time either), he was with a girl he had known since childhood. You'd think that after so many years together, she would be capable of loyalty.
No. Apparently not. And to think it was by pure accident that Peter would find this out. What's more, how this accidental discovery happened was Peter walking about in the hallway as he was heading to the bathroom. He heard giggling from a door but didn't think much of it until he recognized it as his girlfriend's. So why not say a quick hi? All the while he was wondering why she was outside of class, he walked up to the door and looked through the small window to see if it was the right room. It was, but, man, did he wish that it wasn't. She saw him with someone else—some other boy.
Hugging. Well, that's okay, right?
Holding hands after the hug? Weird, to be sure, but...
Kissing?
Peter quickly looked away. He was seeing things. He had to be. She was a friend of many years before the two got together, so there was a solid foundation after all!
"Or so I thought," Peter said as he looked back again. And yeah, there was still romantic affection between his girlfriend and whoever this guy was... who was apparently worth the infidelity. Peter then felt something within him rise. A familiar feeling. That same feeling when Flash Thompson pushed him over the edge. And now, this girl had done the same. It was then decided that he would go just as far as he did previously, except this time, he wouldn't hide it from her. He wasn't going to keep the fact that he was responsible for whatever negative consequences came her way a secret. Flash found out on his own, but Peter was going to outright tell her. She will see that she made a terrible mistake.

First off, Peter successfully found a digital trail she left behind, and he even found some messages that were deleted. When he looked at the timestamps, he realized that they were times when Peter was about to fix her phone. How long did her cheating go on!?
Peter didn't want to know, but he knew he had to for this revenge to take place. Now, unlike the previous time with Flash, this was going to be a lot simpler. All it was going to take was a few things:
1. Collecting Evidence
2. Know who to contact
3. Know who to send all the evidence to
The last one is the most important since where exactly Peter found it was especially incriminating. That idiot not only used her phone, but she had multiple ways to contact him. This included what was only meant for school, or even work because of her internship. The latter seemed to be how they met. As if that wasn't bad enough, Peter found himself finding evidence of bullying. She was doing the same thing Flash had done. And she knew fully well how it affected him. And what's more, she may have even helped those who wanted an internship, but never truly earned it—helping them fake good grades and such. Wow. Just wow.
The only consolation to any of this was that she seemed to have felt bad. What's more, it seems the cheating was only ever emotional, as he even found evidence of her and her side guy being genuinely happy together, even being emotionally open with one another. As for the bullying, it was because of her insecurities.
But that doesn't excuse what she did.
Plus, he can't let this stop her from sealing her fate. And while he was working on this, he had to act normal, as if he knew nothing.
