Chapter 30- Lila's Secret

Lila took a deep breath as she sat down with Sunday and Faith. She had been preparing for this moment for weeks, rehearsing her words and trying to anticipate their reactions. But nothing could truly prepare her for the mix of emotions she felt as she looked at her sisters, the people she loved and trusted most in the world. She wanted to be honest with them, to share this part of herself and hope they would accept and support her. Lila's heart raced as she began to speak, her voice trembling slightly as she said, "Sisters, I have something important to tell you."

Sunday and Faith exchanged a curious glance, but their expressions quickly softened into encouraging smiles. "We're here for you, Lila," Sunday said, reaching out to take Lila's hand. Keith followed Nicole back into the living room, where Sunday and Faith were still hugging Lila. Nicole whispered loudly to Keith, "Lila just told them she's gay!" Keith's eyes widened in surprise, but he quickly composed himself and walked over to Lila. "Hey, kiddo. I love you no matter what," he said, giving Lila a hug. Lila smiled, feeling grateful for her family's love and acceptance.
