I think I lacked a bit in last chapter. I was not able to pen down the emotions in the way I wanted. So, here I think this chapter will be helpful for understanding Ruhi's emotions.
It's really a beautiful chapter. My favourite one....You guys are not commenting. Don't forget to comment. I hope this one will compensate for the last one. Loads of love from my side to all of you ❤️❤️❤️❤️

My eyes opened when I heard some noise. No one was staying with me in the penthouse then who was there? I rubbed my eyes and then I heard a baby crying. Who was crying? Was I hallucinating? I turned my side and my eyes widened. I immediately stood up and sat down on the bed.
I rubbed my eyes again and again but the baby in front of me didn't disappear. I quickly picked up Vaayu in my arms and he was looking at me. I looked around and saw a baby feeder with milk in it and a sticky note attached to it.
'Mr. Rathore feed Junior Rathore this milk if he starts crying. Make sure he doesn't cry much.' I don't know what happened to me. I quickly attached the feeder on Vaayu's mouth and he started sucking it. My eyes wandered across the room and I saw Vaayu's stuff placed around. When did all this happen? And where is Junior Rathore's mother? After feeding him I walked outside the room and went downstairs with Vaayu in my arms.
My eyes feel on the particular figure standing in the kitchen. Ruhi was preparing food and was engrossed in her work. Tears blurred my vision but I controlled them and made my way towards her. When I looked at the ingredients my heart fluttered, she was cooking my favourite dishes.
When Vaayu made a little noise, she turned back. She smiled seeing him and he snuggled against chest. "You woke up?" She asked me but I kept quiet. She again looked at me and picked up a spatula in her hands and gave me a dangerous look,"I asked you something Mr. Rathore. Answer me or do you want me to beat you in front of your son?"
She looked cute.
I smiled and said ,"I woke up but now you tell me when did you return?" She looked at me for some seconds and said,"When you were busy snoring." I looked at her with my mouth opened a little and she laughed.
"I don't snore." I defended myself and she sniffled her laughter,"Ask your son. Why did he wake up before time? He usually wakes up at nine AM but it's eight."
I smiled a little and brought Vaayu near my face and kissed his cheek and asked him,"Did I wake you up with my snores?" He yawned at first and then passed me a cute smile of his. Ruhi started humming a song and I stood near her.
"Turn around." I ordered her and she turned around in a go. Without wasting a second I pecked her lips and she glared at me. She washed her hands and took Vaayu from my hands and said,"Go and get fresh first. Then have made food. It's been a long time since we had something together." I smiled and nodded. But before I could go back, Ruhi called me and I turned around.
She was rocking Vaayu in her arms and said,"You asked me when did I return back? Well Mr. Rathore husband of Mrs. Rathore remember that once I said that even after my death I will haunt you but never leave you." She took a deep breath and walked towards me.
She balanced Vaayu in her arm and poked my chest over my heart and said,"I was always here. In your heart. In the heart of the person who claimed to be heartless. But he never was. Well suppose I made you realise that you have a heart and you are capable of loving someone."
I smiled and bent down till her level and said,
"I think I should congratulate you. You succeed in it." A victorious smile appeared on her lips and she said,"I think you are forgetting something." I looked at her all confused and then realisation dawned over me and my eyes widened.
